Two best friends. A road trip that changes everything.
Lola Jones has been given the opportunity of a lifetime—the chance to show her designs at the Florida Fashion Show. When she enlists her best friend, Patrick Walker, to go on a road trip down to the Sunshine State with her, she never expects sparks to fly between them. All this time with him makes her realize he’s less like the boy she’s known for twenty-four years, and more like the man of her dreams.
Patrick Walker is in love with his best friend. He knows it. His friends know it. But she has no idea. He’s watched Lola date other people, always just out of his reach. A road trip with small hotel rooms, shared sleeping bags, and surprises up and down the east coast seems like the perfect time to tell her how he feels. He’d do anything for Lola, even if it means breaking his heart in the process.
Chelsea is a flight attendant and romance author who writes fun, fresh and flirty love stories with plenty of spice. When she's not making fictional characters banter for twenty chapters before they finally kiss or serving chicken or pasta on an airplane, you can find her trying to pet as many dogs as she can.
Yes, I’m rating my own book (again) because writing is hard as hell, y’all.
ROAD TRIP TO FOREVER HAS:
-childhood friends to lovers -sunshine x sunshine -opposites (kind of) attract -he falls first -dual POV -lots of heart and lots of love -only one bed -a shared sleeping bag -romance books and bookstores -a first kiss under fireworks -a mild amount of spice with open door scenes (including “good girl” and “you can take it”) -a new book boyfriend -mental health rep
I had the opportunity to beta read this book and then I did a reread shortly after it published. If you are a fan of friends to lovers that has minimal conflict / angst and will make you feel all warn and cozy, this is the book for you. Patrick and Lola have been best friends since the moment they met when they were little kids. That friendship has remained strong all the way into their 30s. These two know just about everything about the other and I loved how in tune they were with each other. They were both content with their friendship... until one day something feels different between them and they start to wonder what things would be like if they were more.
Nothing like some forced proximity and a road trip to make two friends finally act on their feelings! I mean there's shared hotel rooms and even a shared sleeping bag. Now Patrick has had romantic feelings for Lola for awhile now but decided he won't risk their friendship in case Lola doesn't feel the same way. Lola on the other hand doesn't realize she had those feelings for him until after she gets back from one of her trips. But maybe she's had those feeling all along and they were clear until now.
Lola is a fashion designer and gets invited to a show in Florida and Patrick immediately offers to take the trip down with her. I LOVED how supportive Patrick is of Lola and her dreams. This man is willing to do anything and everything for her to make sure she is happy. Once Patrick sees a hint of Lola reciprocating some of the same feelings that he has, he gets a bit bolder with how he acts. Some lingering touches and nicknames including honey and love. The build up and tension to the moment where they finally act on how they feel was so good. This has one of my favorite micro-tropes... secret tattoos.
Go read this along with Chelsea's other books!
Tropes: 🤭he falls first and is obsessed ☀️ sunshine / sunshine 🫶🏻 childhood best friends to lovers 🤫 secret tattoos 🚘 road-trip ❤️🔥 a bit of a slow burn 📖 they read romance books together 👥 forced proximity ♾️ it’s always been you 🥰 no third act breakup
DNF 40%. I can push through a lot but I've been more excited reading my husband's textbooks. Lola and Patrick and literally EVERYONE knew that they were in love about 10% into the story. They could've just kissed at the wedding and been happy. If the point was the journey, then I wish we would've actually seen the journey. Rather than this road trip to denial. This was the worst kind of best friends to lovers slow burn. When one friend is in love with the other one for years, it makes the other friend seem oblivious.
4.5⭐️ PATRICK AND LOLA. Omgsh my heart. This is a slow burn, friends to lovers romance and I loved every second of it. Two childhood friends that remained best friends into adulthood, Patrick and Lola could not be more comfortable with each other. But what happens when Lola starts to see her lifelong best friend as more than a friend? The dynamic between these two could not have been anymore sweet and passionate. Patrick was so patient with Lola and made sure he helped her stay on top of her ADHD diagnosis. Making sure she took her medication when she should and even making sure she ate when she was working endlessly on a new project. And Lola did the same for Patrick. Making sure he had fun at all times and took care of him during an excruciating migraine. But my favorite part of this story, and why I love all of Chelsea’s books, the FRIENDSHIPS. I absolutely love this friend group. They are the true meaning of what it takes to be a good friend to someone. They do things as a big group, they help each other not matter what and they’re always there when needed. If you’ve read The Companion Project and An Unexpected Paradise then you’ll be happy to see some past characters come back in this one (and even a few others). And if you haven’t read any of Chelsea’s work then GO. RUN! All of her books are on kindle unlimited and they’re some of my favorite romance novels!
⭐️3.5⭐️ Love the communication and how there was no third act break up 🫡 they were so in love with each other it was so cute 🥹 I do think the book was a tad longer than it needed to be and wish the plot flowed better. overall it was a cute read!
I don’t think I can accurately explain to you how much I love Lola and Patrick but I will do my absolute best 😭🩷
Lola and Patrick have been best friends for 24 years - since Lola moved in next door to Patrick, immediately introduced herself and forced friendship upon him. They are opposites in every way but somehow their friendship just works. When Patrick talks Lola into submitting an application for her designs to be in a fashion show and she gets accepted, he also agrees to go on a road trip with her to be her support person as she chases her dreams. Feelings that Patrick has always felt but never acted on and ones that Lola has newly discovered start to arise but they’re both terrified to ruin the friendship they have.
I’m such a sucker for childhood friends to lovers and was anticipating this to be a lot angstier, but I’m not mad at all that it was very low angst (with no third act breakup!!!) It fit their story so well. Their love is so soft and sweet. The tension built up was SO good, I was sweating every time they got close enough for something to happen, then got interrupted 😂 it was a slow burn but with no miscommunication - actually, lots of honest, healthy and real communication 👏🏼
I love BOTH of their characters individually as people so much. I related so much to Lola that it felt like I read reading about myself sometimes 😂 I am Lola, Lola is me. She’s an openly bisexual woman with ADHD (and he makes sure to remind her to take her meds) who’s a little chaotic and always on the go. Patrick suffers from migraines, he’s quiet and organized and loves with his entire heart and soul. Patrick is the sweetest cinnamon roll, but that man has a mouth on him. My favorite combination 🤭 he’s been head over heels for Lola for so long and was just so patient 😭
The declarations of love, allll the little things built up, the grand gestures, the soft conversations, the chemistry. All of it was just perfection. I love them with my whole being 🥹
Tropes: Childhood friends Secret pining Forced proximity Road trip One bed Mental health/chronic pain rep No third act breakup Low angst/high swoon Caretaking
this book was cute, but it also was very cringy at times & also had moments of “come ON now” in it. i did enjoy it, but i feel like a lot of it could have either been left out (lots of the technicals in relation to her fashion career, or have been much more descriptive (ex: feelings of the characters, why exactly did they change so quickly, in terms of emotion, with way other?) i found myself very confused as to how both just jumped from one narrative, to another, when they’ve been only one way for so long. i get his side, more than hers. but i feel like regardless, it all just happened like way too quickly, and with little to no major explanation. like i said, i did enjoy this! but, i feel some things could have been different.
I wanted to love this book so bad but honestly it fell short. Lola and Patrick were in love with each other by 20% of the story & just not telling one another. Also NOTHING about their relationship changed besides them being intimate. It just wasn’t my favorite friends to lovers :(
patrick did do some dreamy things but it wasn’t enough go save this book😭
4/5 ⭐️ I liked this book a lot, this was a solid 4 star read for me, and It was far better than the previous two books that I had read.
The main trope of this book was childhood friends to lovers. I am a sucker for a good childhood friends to lovers book, and I ate this book up, also the road trip theme was a cherry on the cake.
I am adding Patrick to my book boyfriend’s list, y’all, I was melted, I almost turned into a puddle.
This man literally annotated and tabbed Lo’s favourite books and favourite parts of the book, and created a mini library for her???!!! He accompanied her to the work trip and assisted her, and the proposal gesture, don’t talk to me!!! He was so considerate, caring, and loving I was a goner.
The writer did justice to Patrick and Lo, they were made for each. I loved them.
Perfect perfect perfect!!! Another friends to lovers that hits soooo good! Patrick is a literal dream book boyfriend especially if you love truly sweet men who don’t mind getting a little dirty 😏😉. So many happy feels throughout this story and UGH that epilogue got to me. So wonderful!!
I really enjoyed Chelsea's book Camera Chemistry and was so excited to work my way through the rest of her catalog, especially after a weekend hanging out at Steamy Lit! When #foldsquad picked it for our first bookclub pick, I was HYPE.
This book is so swoony and delicious and spicy - I could have gone for 200 more pages of Lola and Patrick being hot. I love love LOVE a he falls first trope, and Patrick was absolutely the most precious and lovable little simp for Lola. All men need to be Patrick (the dirty-mouthed quiet man aspect doesn't bother me one bit either 👀). Between this and Planes, Trains, and All the Feels, I am DESPERATE for a road trip to fall in love. Immediately go read this book! I'll be hustling to catch up on Chelsea's backlist.
And because I am the way I am, I immediately ordered signed copies of Chelsea's available books on Etsy because I love a trophy copy!
You can expect: ADHD rep (her), he falls first, childhood friends to lovers, pining, fashion designer FMC, elementary school principal MMC, Boston to Florida road trip, soulmates, declarations of love, all sunshines here, secret tattoos as a declaration of love, slow burn, romance novel references (and they READ together!!!!!), no third act breakup!
*Spoilers ahead* ARC copy provided, thoughts and comments all my own.
So I have to preface this with, I also married my best friend after years of being friends. This book spoke to me, Lola’s fears of what happens if it doesn’t work, and the worry of crossing that line- I know those feelings, I felt the same ones, that fear of loosing something that is already beautiful is real.
But just like Lola, I made the leap, the one who you trust the most to be your best friend is someone who cares about you, and the love that can grow from that is really special.
Lola and Patrick’s love was special, their respect for each other such a breath of fresh air. Her love of fashion also spoke to me on a deep level :)
Chelsea this book was lovely, a pleasure to read, and the nostalgia for me was real. So thank you for that!
I gave this 4.5 stars rounded up to 5, as it did slow a little for me before the ending, but I still loved it.

My Grade: DNF After the first few chapters, I realized that this book wasn't for me. I absolutely love the childhood friends to lovers and road trip tropes, but I didn't like the insta-love feelings and how the FMC and MMC interacted. This needed more of a slow burn, because it just became tedious to read. Just not my cup of tea.
Spice Level: 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️ out of 5. From the one steamy scene I got through, it was pretty spicy. There was an eye roll element to it, the FMC never having achieved an orgasm with another person before, even though she has had multiple partners and is LGBTQ+ (possibly bi-sexual, but not specified from what I read), but the MMC was able to make her have an O face with no issues. Yawn.
omg what a freaking adorable sunshine x sunshine love story by @authorchelseacurto with the cutest HEA. don’t get me wrong while this book was all of the swoony adorableness, she’s throwing some heat in there y’all. highly highly recommend this one!🍕
RTTF was one of my most anticipated reads of the year! I did my best to not read any of the sneak peaks that Chelsea posted on IG so I could go in as close to blind as possible. This story follows Patrick and Lola who are childhood best friends. Read if you love
✨friends to lovers ✨he falls first ✨no third act breakup ✨sllooowww burn
Overall, I enjoyed this book and found myself highlighting so much out of it! For the girlies who are ride or dies for slow burns and no third act breakup, you’ll enjoy this!! They aren’t my personal favorites (I realized how much I love the angst) BUT the epilogue really brought it home for me!
Thank you Chelsea for the ARC copy in exchange for an honest review. Available now!
If you are looking for a low angst, high swoon read this is the perfect summer read for you!!
Patrick and Lola have been best friends since they were 10 years old. Now they’re in their 30’s and while they’ve never crossed the friendship line, Patrick has been in love with Lola as long as he can remember. But he’s never seen Lola look at him as anything more than a friend, so he’s shoved his feelings to the side and stayed in the friend zone. But one day Lola looks at Patrick and suddenly everything changes for her. She doesn’t do long term relationships, and she’s terrified of losing her friendship with Patrick, but suddenly she realizes she can’t live without him anymore. Can they push past the fears and try a relationship?
This book gave me butterflies the entire time! The way Patrick cares for Lola as friends was so swoony. Lola was his happy place, and he was willing to do anything to keep that happiness in his life. I loved all his grand gestures for her, as he opened up his heart to her as she was ready for it. I loved that he waited so patiently for Lola to realize her feelings for him. He didn’t pressure her, and as soon as she admitted it he was all in. Immediately. I loved Patrick and Lola together. Don’t let the cute cover fool you, the mouth on this man?? So unexpectedly dirty. I loved it. This book was so worth the wait!
This book is a perfect book to read when you just want sunshine and happiness!
I was lucky enough to be a ARC reader for this book. The book is written so beautifully. Patrick and Lola are the definition of soulmates. Lola and Patrick are child hood best friends for over 20 years. Patrick has been carefully hiding his feelings so there’s no chance of possibly losing his friendship. It is a slow burn romance, but the build up to see them fall for each other is worth it. Patrick’s dedication to making Lola happy is beautiful and I highly recommend it.
How does this book have a 4.26 rating on GR? It was PAINFUL. I could not get through it. Patrick is the creepiest MC I’ve ever read. The whole book thing where he secretly purchased books she liked (romance novels that she read to him) and highlighted/annotated the paragraphs she liked from them (!), and also making lists of what she likes and doesn’t likes based on what she tells him about her dates - that’s not cute, that’s stalker level behavior. And Lola was - I don’t know what she was…sure she wore her emotions on her sleeve, but I was not endeared to her at all.
I did like that Patrick’s character was open from the start about his feelings (at least to himself) and Lola’s “awakening” to Patrick also made sense. Also, their original meet-cute at age 11 was sweet (hence the 1.5 stars)… but it was so, so, so poorly written and just annoying - the pining and not doing anything about it but just pining. Could not finish it. I did flip through and chanced upon a paragraph where apparently Patrick is actually rich b/c his grandmother left him apple stocks that she invested in way back when b/c Steve Jobs was cute? Seriously?
The only explanation for the high rating on GR is all the steam, I suppose.
I think I lost some brain cells in the process of trying to make my way thought this. Could not finish.

This book was boring. A skimmed through it a bit. I wish the author spent more time telling us instead of showing us. Just say they went to a Disney world or whatever. Don’t make us read about it for an hour. So, so boring. The author did this multiple times. The couple is boring and so is this book.
I have followed Chelsea since An Unexpected Paradise, adored the Companion Project, died over a small town bookshop in Booked for the Holidays, and had to fan myself after Camera Chemistry. Getting an ARC of this book was an absolute dream and I’m so thankful to be able to review it!
First off- the tropes. I LOVE a friends (or best friends) to lovers so much but I sometimes get a small ick- why now? Like all the sudden bc your girl is getting married you want to step in? Like okay dude go fight for your girl but why not sooner. RTTF does NOT have that issue, at all! It’s a true “it’s always been you.” Knowing someone for most of your life and wondering why that draw is there? So amazing. Their development felt like coming home and putting on your favorite sweatshirt, so cozy and right and I think that’s amazing to accomplish. Of course we have the one bed on the road trip and I swoon every time, and this time is no different. Dang you hallmark romances that have me hooked every time!
Second- can we PLEASE make Patrick our new standard for book boyfriends!? This MAN truly is a 10/10! Kind and caring, a sunshine but realistic soul, and the most considerate and emotionally mature male ever. I joked with a friend I see him higher on the list than Rhysand and that’s a task hard to do but Patrick does it! The way he cares for Lola goes above and beyond and it had me giggling like a school girl and feelings the butterflies! Going out of his way to do the little things that are actually huge and not expecting anything from it, just to see her smile? *swoon* My only flaw with him- that he’s fictional to be honest *sighs*
Third- my girl Lola!! Hey girl, omg she is stunning!! Her whole vibe is someone that I just want to be friends with (bc no one is taking Patrick’s spot tbh). Another perfectly sunshine character that I can see myself relating too. She devotes her entire soul to her craft and is inclusive and I absolutely adore that. You can feel her passion leap off the pages and can’t help but root for her. She’s truly a girls girl and I just want to be in the friend group now. Also let’s have Lola start a book club bc she and I have similar tastes in books ;)
Fourth- NO THIRD ACT BREAKUPPPPPP. Okay let’s be real, we all read books with drama to escape reality for a bit. But a predictable breakup/ makeup- not my thing anymore. There is NONE of that in RTTF and I couldn’t have loved it more! Patrick and Lola felt like a warm embrace, they felt stronger than a miscommunication, and the one “bump” they encounter, he walks in (or struts in ;)) and saves the day! What a knight in shining armor! It’s rare to find such a balanced couple and having something throw a wrench at them would’ve taken away from that, so glad they truly have a happy ending. I had to savior this book while still reading as fast as I could, totally WORTH ITTTTTT :)
Fifth- our peppers. I love a good smut with a little plot every now and then, don’t get me wrong, but RTTF was the most perfect balance of tension and passion and plot! Everything was crucial to the plot and enhanced my love for this couple. The fact they can read each other so well and work together, just incredible!!
I have read quite a bit in my time- alien romance, dark romance, cowboy, you name it and I might have read it. Booktok has never let me down but usually I can find something that drops it from 5 stars to lower, needing something resolved with the story or finding things wrong that don’t sit well with me. But I have never felt that way with Chelsea’s books. They always seem as perfect as a book can get. The effort and time she puts into her stories, crafting these with such attention to detail that I’m never wanting more like I have with others (besides wanting them to go on forever and ever). They feel like warm embraces, like they could be your friends stories, they’re relatable and swoon worthy. I will never stop singing her praises as an author. So simply put, read these books- 15/10 would alwayssss recommend!

I was lucky enough to score an ARC to Chelsea Curto’s fifth book, ‘Road Trip to Forever’, and although it’s now out in the world, I still want to talk about it!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 🌶️🌶️
RTtF gave me all of the cozy, adorable, kick-your-legs-in-the-air-this-is-too-cute moments. The story follows two best friends, Patrick and Lola, as they navigate on a road trip to Florida in pursuit of Lola’s career dreams & their own relationship. Patrick is the epitome of a man written by a woman - and I mean that in the best way! It was easy to see how much thought and care Chelsea put into these two characters & their backstory - having your MCs be believable best friends for 24 years means you need a lot of memories to reminisce on, and I found these interjections throughout the story made it that much better. Lola was a fire-cracker of a FMC. I definitely had moments where I could relate to her & overall found her chapters fun to read. An added bonus for the seamless pansexual rep, too.
I’ve read two other books by Curto & loved them both. This is the least “spicy” of the three (still some tasteful open-door scenes for sure) so if you’re looking for hot n’ heavy, I’d say this isn’t the book for you. The only reason RTtF lost a star for me was because *some* of the dialogue was a bit too cheesy (if that’s even possible in a romance) and it diluted my immersion in the story. But if you’re in the mood for an easy, swoon-worthy, no second-act breakup (!!!) romance, please do yourself a favour and pick up RTtF. I devoured it in a day and cried multiple times because I’m such a damn baby and I LOVE LOVE.
Congratulations on Patrick & Lola, Chelsea! You crushed it & I’m thankful I was able to be apart of your ARC group!
✨Low angst/high reward ✨Best Friends to Lovers ✨Roadtrip ✨One Bed/Tent
Thoughts: This was the softest, sweetest, fluffiest story and I ate up every minute of it. Low angst, cute moments, soulmate vibes, banter, and so many swoony moments (mixed in with some proper hot ones) - it was worth the wait, Chelsea!
Patrick is a man after my own heart. Schedules, and spreadsheets, and always putting others first. He’s attentive, incredibly supportive, kind, communicative, and all in for Lola from the very beginning. The man was PINING and had all but committed himself to a lifetime of wanting, but never resentful or angry about it. Lola was a force - protecting herself from getting hurt again, and focusing on making her own way in life. Watching Lola realize her feelings for him (feelings that were probably always bubbling underneath the surface) had me giddy and so excited for them.
There was a LOT of tension - it was a very real slow burn with lots of near-moments/almost-kisses, but the angst was so low. No breakup, no miscommunication. Once these two got together (in a Hollywood-worthy way) it was pure joy and love. There’s something to be said for a book that doesn’t trigger any anxiety, and instead just has two people falling in love with their best friend.
The friend group was so fun, there was incredible banter throughout, one bed/one tent/roadtrip/forced proximity…everything there is to love about a friends to lovers. I know Chelsea had a tougher time getting this book out, but as far as summer romances that just make your heart happy - this one nailed it.
Thank you for the ARC, Chelsea! I’m so glad to have met Patrick & Lola.
“I’m in love with you, I think into the field of hair that tickles my nose. I’m in love with you, I think when Lola sighs and relaxes her body into mine. I'm in love with you, I think as she buries her face in my shirt, and I wonder if maybe, maybe, there’s a tiny chance she could love me, too.” • • OKAY BUT FRIENDS TO LOVERS SLAPS EVERY TIME!!!
I loved this book. Endless stars. This was EVERYTHING and Patrick and Lola will live inside my heart forever with their donuts, crosswords, spreadsheets, sewing machines and books. This was perfect.
Best friends for 24 years, Patrick and Lola are the epitome of soulmates. Patrick knows it, but Lola is a bit slower to catch up, so, Patrick quietly loves her just to keep their friendship alive. He’s afraid of everything changing if he reveals his true feelings. This man is out here doing the most for Lola and he is the sweetest ray of sunshine. Lola is scared of people leaving her so she doesn’t like commitment and until one night over pizza, never saw Patrick as more than a friend. But once it changes for her, there’s no going back. These two sunshiney souls deserve all the goodness in the world. The slow burn and the tension is TOP TIER and their chemistry was off the charts.
This is definitely a story for the slow burn book lovers. It’s a childhood friends to lovers where it’s clear they’ve recently developed feelings for each other (for her, he’s been down bad since they first met) and yet I don’t think the first kiss happens until halfway through the book. I enjoy a slow burn, and I loved the tension build up but I was also like will y’all just kiss already?!!
After that first kiss finally happened, the classic Chelsea spice kicked in and it was well worth the wait 😮💨 There is just something about the way Chelsea incorporates spice into her books that always feels natural, it never feels forced or overly done.
I really enjoyed the fashion show competition element of the story. That was so fun!
Of the three books in the “unofficial series” this couple was definitely my fave. It just probably could have been a smidge shorter with a few repetitive scenes omitted 🤭
i was given the amazing opportunity to beta read this book! 🫶🏻
what a journey this was! getting to watch patrick and lola grow!
full review to come in release day!

tropes: - best friends to lovers -one bed - road trip/forced proximity - slow burn - he falls first - "always been you" - mental health rep
thoughts: I have so much to say and so many thoughts but also... no words at all!? first and foremost thank you Chelsea for letting me beta read this amazing story. Getting to see this story unfold and become what it is now… 🥹🥹🥹 SO PROUD OF YOU!!!
I absolutely LOVE a friends to lovers story. some may say, even MORE than enemies to lovers 🫣 There is so much history and angst and playfulness involved and Chelsea delivereddddd on that!
Patrick and Lola are freaking end game. They just need a few signs and nudges to make that clear 😂 I loved that we got to see each of them come to this realization of "wow I am in love with this person" I also loved how Chelsea gave this F2L story a bit of a different spin... they had sooo much open communication with each other, there wasn't some crazy passion filled one night that they had to then tip toe around... they decided together to take things to the next step SLOWLY... oh so slowlyyyyyy. AND NO THIRD ACT BREAK UP 🙌🙌
also do not let Patricks sweet goofy nature fool you, the man has a FILTHY mouth and we love ittttt we call him the filthy sweet cinnamon roll
Move over all best friends to lovers romances, Road Trip to Forever is officially #1 in my book. Can you say swoon worthy?! I am obsessed with Patrick and Lola. This was as sugary sweet as a Hallmark, but had a twist of spice. There were SO many parts in their story that had me feeling all warm and gooey inside, and a big part of that was Patrick. The care he had for Lola was adorable. His whole world revolves around her and he had so many little moments that remind him of her. The books he buys, his Love Lola Forever secret folder in his phone, tattoos…all of it was too cute for words.
I freaking loved this and am looking forward to reading more from Chelsea’s backlist. It was so cute to see the Easter egg from Camera Chemistry too!
Firstly Thankyou Chelsea for an ARC of road trip to forever.
This story follows two childhood best friends Patrick and Lola. Lola has the opportunity to show her designs at a fashion show in the Sunshine State and enlist Patrick to join her on a road trip there, Patrick being the best friend that he is more happy to join her! All this time together sparks start to form but this comes as no surprise at all to Patrick has always know he’s in love with Lola.
This book is a sweet journey from friends to lovers filled with sweet and vulnerable moments (and no third act breakup!) . If you have read any of Chelsea’s previous books you made come across a few familiar faces too!
*adds Patrick to my book boyfriend list*

First, thank you so much to Chelsea for letting me have an ARC of this INCREDIBLE book! 🤩 everyone needs to go read this book ASAP! It publishes on August 2!
Patrick and Lola are everything. They’ve been best friends since they were eleven years old and stayed close for twenty-four years. I love how incredibly supportive Patrick is of her and her dreams and never once makes her feel less than perfect. Lola is such a sweetheart with big emotions and I just love her. They’re both so freaking pure and their friendship is amazing. And ohhhhhhh boy, their spicy scenes are 🥵 ! Hands down, one of my favorite reads this year!!!
