Pangalawang Martha Cecilia novel na nabasa ko at grabe, ibang klase, sobrang ganda nito, to the point na nagpipigil pa ako ng ihi huwag lang mahinto sa pagbasa. She's very good at creating situations na mag-eevoke ng emotions sa readers. Inis, lungkot, panghihinayang, at higit sa lahat e yung pagmamahalan ng dalawang bida. Hindi siya 'yung tipong pinilit, masasabi mong realistic ang kanyang mga characters. Hindi rin siya 'yung tipong umaasa sa mga mabubulaklak na salita para lang masabing maganda. Dito, kahit simpleng dialogue, simpleng narration lang, swak na swak. (Though there are lines that I find so cheesy)

Anyway, sana marami pa akong mahiram na Martha Cecilia books sa kaibigan ko.

Ang ganda ng pagkakasulat ng story. Halos hindi ko mabitawan ang libro, ito ang love story ng anak nila Rigo at Lacey na sila Charlize. Kahit common yung twist sa nerdy guy at naging attractive pagkalipas ng panahon, nabigyan naman ang justice yung mga hugot nila for 7 years. 5 stars so far sa series na to isa din to sa nagustuhan ko.

Mananatili Kitang Mahal

Jason and Charlize came from a two different types of group. She’s a well-known person on the campus while he’s a nerdy guy because of his looks. He likes her, she does not reciprocate the feelings.

At dahil sa pambubuska ng mga kaibigan, sinagot ni Charlize si Jason. Tuwing silang dalawa lang ang magkasama, masaya siya. Pero kapag nakapaligid na ang mga kaibigan niya, nahihiya siya at naiinis sa mga panloloko ng mga ito.

Til that moment when she have to choose between Jason and Ben, a makulit suitor na ayaw siyang tigilan. She choses the later and regreted her decision. She tried to get him back but it was too late. Far too late.

Years passed.

Charlize became a EIC of a magazine owned by her friend. An assignment was assigned to her even if she’s not a reporter but because the client requested for her. And lo and behold, the famous writer she’s meant to interview was none other than Jason.

And seeing him back, brings back the old feelings she has for him. And it also does for him.

This kind of story always gives me the small ache on my heart. Simple yet inviting to the readers.

Halos di ko mabitaw-bitawan itong pocketbook na ito kasi page turner talaga. At talagang gusto ko ng malaman kung what will happen next! Madalas na nababasa or napapanood natin e yung girls ang ugly duckling pero nagiging maganda sa ending. Pero sa novel na ito ay ang lalaki naman ang ganun at ang babae naman ang maganda.

Bukod sa love story nina Liz at Jason ay nandito din ang masalimuot na nangyari sa pamilya ni Jason noon. Para akong nanonood ng teledrama habang binabasa ko ito kasi talagang samu't saring emotions ang mararamdaman ng readers like inis, galit, gulat at love. Isa talaga ito sa novels ni Martha Cecilia na hindi ko malilimutan at paniguradong babasahin ko ulit sa future.
