A short funny story you should try reading when you have some minutes to spare.

Cathy, the female MC is hilarous. No damsel in distress this one. She takes care of business!

"Cathy stared straight ahead, keeping her face carefully blank. Damn it. He was hunky and hot for her, so, of course, he was also batshit crazy. “You believe you’re an alien?”

“To you, I am an alien. To me, you are...you’re an alien.”

He was good-looking and polite and she was only in Moonbeam for three more nights. What the hell? Crazy or not, she’d fuck the kinky bastard, and she might even wear tinfoil antennas while he boned her."
(...)
My lord. The man wasn’t wearing underwear either and Cathy’s body temperature soared to sizzling levels, because that large cock he so casually displayed oscillated back and forth in short, shallow thrusts. She licked her bottom lip, enthralled by the hypnotic motion. “Ahhh...” Her brain turned to mush. “Whatever you like.”

...oscillated back and forth in short, shallow thrusts.. ummm B.O.B, anyone? Holy crap *huge grin*

Since Rellec (who looks like a human by the way except his got this big gyrating cock, oh and he's blue and green) is not of this world his english isn't so...good, but the meaning is clear

“Your upper ventral region pleases me very much.” He swiped a calloused thumb over her nipple.
“Breasts, call them breasts.”
(...)
“I have to use Ministry instruments or I’ll get my ass fired.”
A red-hot rage swept over Rellec.
“No one will touch your ass,” he bellowed, his fingers curling into fists and his ridges rattling. “Your ass is my possession.”
“Is it, eh?”
His Cathy’s brown eyes sparkled like freshly tilled earth. She bent over, thrusting that part of her anatomy toward him, and his anger flowed into burning desire, his spicka vibrations intensifying.
“Well, then, you can claim my ass later.”
Claim? Rellec stared at her wiggling curves and his mouth dried.
“You wish me to fuck your ass?” Sladky matka. He swallowed hard. Was that possible?
“Not without lube.”
“Lubrication would eliminate unnecessary friction,” Rellec agreed, his gaze locked on her rounded bottom.
(...)
“Yes.” He nodded, eager to please her. “I will obtain lube and I will fuck your ass.”
“Okie dokie then. I’m glad that’s settled.”

I don't know which of them is more fun!

In short, an amusing, hot story.

I found this book very amusing. The author had a nice way with phrases that gave you a little puzzle and laugh figuring out what the aliens were talking about - like "hearing systems" or "sleeping support" for ears and bed. Lots of very graphic sex, but even that was pretty amusing to me. As for world building, I was pretty disappointed. The "alien" words seemed a little too familiar and when I did some checking, they were all Czech words. If there was some mention in the book about why these aliens spoke Czech, I could understand it, but there was no explanation. I would have also liked a little more detail like how the aliens determine a soulmate, why they'd take a whole transport ship to Earth for one human female (instead of one ship for lots of females), why were the alien ants the enemies of the aliens and what's so great about being a "breaker". If this was a prequel to a series, I'd understand it. But the next book in the series is also only about this same length (75 pages). I was amused enough by the book that I might get the second in the series and also read this one again, but if you're looking for a sci-fi world this isn't it.

This is one book that I really, really should have liked seeing as it has aliens and spaceships and dirty sexin' with said aliens. GOOD GOLLY, THIS IS ALL STUFF I ADORE! Now, to be fair, I didn't dislike it, exactly. I just... wasn't in love with it. And that makes me sad.

So, why didn't I love it? I don't know. That's one of the things that's driving me a bit crazy. Cathy was an okay character. Rellec's oddness was fun enough. The set-up was a little ridiculous but I generally like ridiculous. The random aliens showing up planet side were, umm, unexpected. The bottom line is that I never really connected to the characters or what they were going through enough to fully immerse myself in the story.

So, while this was a fun little diversion, it didn't rock my world the way Rellec rocked Cathy's world. HOW SAD IS THAT???

I have a lot of books on my kindle that I've gotten over time (like over 200), that were free or a really good deal, or ones that I bought. And I've started going through them to, well, read what I have before buying new. So I was in the mood for something sci-fi and clicked on this book.

Well. I don't quite know what to say about this book. It was interesting, I will give it that. And it's not that I didn't like it. The world building has potential and I think it would have made a more interesting novel as opposed to a shorter novella. It's hard to cram in world building (especially when dealing with sci-fi themes) into a book this length. The characters seemed to lack the connection and emotional depth I expected.

I will say, that despite my issues with this specific book, the book was well written and I will likely check out the author's backlist.

This book has the genre that I love to read but This book is completely ridiculous. It's 80% sex with dialogue that reads like some alien breeder themed porno.

This is seriously cheesy stuff and if you try, for even a moment, to take it seriously you would probably be repulsed. But I really don't think it's meant to be read as serious science fiction or even serious erotica. There is too much humour in it. (Gawd do I ever hope that it's intentional!)

The plot is essentially that Rellec has come to earth to find his mate, apparently planning to win her with sexual pleasure alone. Seriously, that's it. Cathy, his intended mate, is loose. She has no problem going at it in the outdoors with a man she JUST met. She also happens to have a real voyeuristic streak, convenient since everything she and Rellec does is observed by a planet of horny men. Good thing he's not the jealous type either.

Then they were attack by the enemy. I thought that would be the part I would start liking the story but the story just missed me for it turned out more worse for me. The book just have too much "My Rellec" "My Cathy" in it. That I started to cringe at the word and just thought

As for world building, I was pretty disappointed. The "alien" words seemed a little too familiar and when I did some checking, they were all Czech words. If there was some mention in the book about why these aliens spoke Czech, I could understand it, but there was no explanation. If you're looking for a short read then this book isn't bad. If you're looking for a good laugh this is a good read for you.

This book is completely ridiculous. It's 80% sex with dialogue that reads like some alien breeder themed porno you'd expect to find in a frathouse. Having said that, if you're the type (like me) who ever stayed up late to watch and laugh at the B grade sci-fi on television you just might like it. This is seriously cheesy stuff and if you try, for even a moment, to take it seriously you would probably be repulsed. But I really don't think it's meant to be read as serious science fiction or even serious erotica. There is too much humour in it. (Gawd do I ever hope that it's intentional!) Every single one of Rellec's parroted declarations of sexual intent made me laugh. I just couldn't help it.

The plot is essentially that Rellec has come to earth to find his mate, apparently planning to win her with sexual pleasure alone. Seriously, that's it. Cathy, his intended mate, is loose. I'd call her a slut, but that imparts an unintended judgement of her character. Let's just say she has no problem going at it in the outdoors with a man she JUST met. She also happens to have a real voyeuristic streak, convenient since everything she and Rellec does is observed by a planet of horny men. Good thing he's not the jealous type either.

If you're looking for a good laugh that also tickles you libido, this is a good read for you. If you're looking for something just seriously hot, then this isn't it.

Lust by Moonbeam is a great read.

Cathy and Rellec are lonesome. Cathy is lonesome because her parents died when she was young and was placed in the system. She’s never felt that she really belonged and has never set roots down.

Rellec is lonesome because he was placed on Earth to find his mate. All his family is back on his home planet. He finds Cathy who is his mate. He needs to win her love so that his mission is complete and he can go home.

When these two are brought together they complete the other. I enjoyed seeing them find out about the other. When Cathy see’s Rellec’s true form it doesn’t bother her and she falls in love with him for himself.

This was a great mini story. I really wished it had been longer. I hated when I came to the end.

I really enjoy reading Cynthia Sax’s books. Thanks for such an enjoyable read.

I struggle to give an honest and accurate review for this because well truthfully I am still not sure if I liked it! Alien seeks mate on earth as very few females born on his planet and meets human woman who rocks his world, the end! It's an over worked and very tired storyline and apart from the comic element (was that intentional?) there was nothing new in this story.
Now I don't wish to be harsh as the author wrote in a style that was easy to follow and there is a lot of sex in this book but I was hoping to be a little excited . I wanted a hunky alien but what I got was a very NICE guy! Sometimes nice is just too boring.
I paid good money for this and whilst its not complete drivel and I did finish it I still don't feel that I could recommend and say it was fab and I so wanted to!
Only 3 stars from me
Ps Warlords Bounty is much better!

Novella/Short Story Ratings
Book ♥ 1 Stars
Author ♥♥ 2 stars
Total ♥♥ 1.5 stars

This had the premise to be a very good book. I love the paranormal but, sometimes when it is so unbelievable that you do not want to finish a book you begin to feel like you are reading something my two year old nephew would make up. (At least that would make a whole lot of sense). I am trying to clean my kindle of novellas or short stories lately but, I have seen one thing in common many of them are too rushed and they have so much involved that it is really hard to like the story. I will not be reading the rest of this series.

Hot, hot, hot! with aliens *YAY* Sexxxxyy!!

This is a F/M read, but just so you know, their every movement is watched by the entire home world, including when they're having sex.
Hey aliens have to learn about us somehow, and there is anal sex, so if you're not okay with all that, well...sorry :-/
*shrugs shoulders* not sure what else to say.
But if you don't care, well then I'd say read it!! :-)

2 1/2 stars.

Likable Alien H Rellec finds earth woman Cathy and declares she is his mate. Rellec is a "fixer" on his planet, oh, and he's blue.

Luck for Cathy he's quite horny and skilled. Not a whole lot of story and Cathy's character is a bit undeveloped although she's not unlikable.

Mostly it's a lot of sweaty alien sex with a little story thrown in. Entertaining enough, glad I got it free.

The first book in the Alien Abduction series is a fast paced erotic story that puts aliens in a whole new light. I found this to be a short and fast fascinating story filled with lots of passion and humor. The dialogue with the aliens is a charming mix of a kind of naivety and dirty sex talk that makes the characters very intriguing.

This was a bit woeful really, Cathy was particularly too eager to jump a man she'd met 5 minutes before, didn't blink when she discovered he was a blue alien with a vibrating cock. There was enough alien/human miscommunication to make the read frustrating and annoying. The main redemption of the book coming from Rellec's obvious concern and care of Cathy and his constant need to 'fix' her. Not sure I'll read more from this author.

... I haven't ever felt the need or want to watch porno's or the like, but if I had to guess I would say that 85% of this book reads like one. It's funny, and kind of interesting... but mostly it's so over the top ridicules! Him I can deal with, I get the whole different species, different culture and all that. Her... 'probe me'... really? WOW, just wow. So yeah, kinda interesting, but it would be more so if I didn't feel like I was reading 'grade B' porn.

"Your upper ventral region pleases me very much."

Then the heroine and human, Cathy tells Rellec, "Breasts. Call them breasts."

Cynthia Sax's interspiecs, alien love scenes are hot and hilarious at the same time. This is a great story with intriguing, loveable characters. A fun, fab, fast read. Lust by Moonbeam is a real blast.

Boring

Why are the aliens Very simplistic, when they are so advanced. They have translators, but speak like kids. Very annoying. Too fast paced in story and not enough reason for her to fall for her Rellec. I have read other books by this author, hard to believe this was by same person.

Weird but good. For a short it was a surprisingly good story and world. I wasn't a fan of the sex or Cathy. I'd given it more stars but her sexual preferences really weren't my thing.

If you like voyeurism, aliens, and quick reads this book is for you.

His book was good but honestly some of the wordings I got ls on and some parts were odd to me but overall I enjoyed it. The sex scenes were good and the chemistry between the two even with the different languages was good. I enjoyed it

I was looking forward to this storyline but it fell flat for me. I do like reading novels with a good amount of sex in them but I also like the sex to weave itself in and about a well-written story.

Cheers
