Connor loves what he does, but what he does is not what many consider manly. He is a yell leader, or male cheerleader, for the National Football League, and he takes his job very seriously. Connor can ignore the whispers and jeers for the most part, but when he and a rookie linebacker are the only two men on the field one day he wonders why the man is coming toward him. Does he have something to say to him, or is he going to beat him to a pulp?
Lost in his own thoughts one morning as he was going over the halftime routine, Connor didn’t notice the linebacker coming up behind him.
“Hey.”
Connor turned around and was literally dwarfed by the man. “Oh, hi.” Connor looked up at the big man and wondered what he wanted. Then he nervously looked around. He and the linebacker were the only two men on the field.
“I’m Brady.” The man shook Connor’s hand and Connor thought he was going to faint. He nervously cleared his throat.
“Connor.”
“I know. I asked around.”

Connor let the warm water of the shower beat down on him as he held the bar of soap in his hand. He imagined Brady in the shower with him, the two of them lathering each other and smoothing their hands along the other’s body. Connor thought he felt the strong hands of the linebacker on him, but he realized he was only daydreaming.
To say this book is about anything would be a stretch, so much as two guys meeting at a certain place, go home together and have sex, the end. The author can't even decide which to call the characters, it switches back and forth so fast. In one sentence its linebacker this, cheerleader that, in the next he uses their names. The whole story is about a linebacker who is in the closet, likes a male cheerleader and asks him to a party. Cheerleader shows up and the rest is them having sex, and it's not hot in anyway. Oh, and yeah the title its not about throwing a football.
