A look into the history of the Border Patrol, from its beginnings to the near present. The authors tell of the ever growing dangers involved in this job, and the obstacles they face from our own bureaucratic morass here in the U.S., as well as pressure from other governments and activists that hinder them in doind the job they were hired to do.

The Dems want them for their vote, Repubs and business want them for their cheap labor. The general population doesn't want them because they take away jobs.

On top of the human traffic, the Border Patrol must also deal with the drug traffic, and of course now, the terrorist threat of open boarders.
