The narrator/author has a very soothing, calm voice.

I originally thought the book would be sharing stories from adventure traveling and while it does have some of that, it is not the major theme. Its about your relationship to your body, your mind, your surroundings and the people around you.

I think the book is very relaxing but it is lacking a little oomph to keep interest a little higher. There is a lot of talk about meditation and spiritual awakening over wild adventure stories. So just keep that in mind.

I like the idea of her using the quarantine/lock down of COVID as a time to reflect on her life and share her memories with others.

Thank you to NetGalley, Erin Leider Pariser, and HighBridge Audio for the opportunity to listen to Get Lost. I have written this review voluntarily.

It is a memoir in which the author reflects on what she learned from situations and gives us her insights from the experience.
I really liked the book. It's a book that heals and transforms us just by reading it, or in my case, listening to it.
The writing is simple and gets straight to the point, focusing on what the author want to get to us. And it arrives.
I really enjoyed these lessons and reinforcing what I already had in me. An exceptional book.

I really enjoyed listening to this book.
I think being read by the author brought a certain intimacy and a way things were said, with a feeling that reaches the listener.

A huge thanks to

Here is someone who has had a lot of adventures! What impressed me about her stories wasn't all the places she's been, but how she lives her adventures. She is open to experience and even used the words "magic" and "grace" to talk about how she lives.
I had several moments listening to this audiobook where I thought "Aha!" like when she talked about what it should be like to be in a yoga class. Instead of approaching yoga and meditation in a competitive spirit, it makes more sense to have a personal, spiritual experience. I have been reading books like this about how to push my own boundaries to live a calmer, more authentic life. Thanks to NetGalley for letting me listen to this.

Listening to this book was like listening to a friend encourage me through stories of their own personal victories. Erin’s stories were filled with her experiences of not only visiting new places, but the people and culture that dwell there. Her attitude of open-mindedness, spirit of adventure, and desire to give back were all very inspiring. I love the idea of adventuring for physical and mental growth and wellness. With healthy doses of fun, of course! Overall it was a nice listen, and now I want to plan an adventure with friends! Thank you to NetGalley for the audio ARC in exchange for my honest review.

The author shares principles that she uses during her adventure travel trips with women. These tips are designed to empower people to learn more about themselves than ever imagined and to guide you to create the life you want. The book is a mix of practical steps and exercises and real-life examples from the participants in the trip.

Thanks to the publisher and NetGalley for providing an ARC for my honest review.

sounds like some unique trips have been led/experienced by this author. I listened to the book (read by author) and found some of it very intriguing. However, overall I was bored at times and not very inspired - which is the opposite of what I expected. But bravo to all those who have traveled with the author and accomplished all that she offered on these very challenging adventures.

This was so disappointing to me. I should have trusted my intuition and stopped reading it earlier, but I kept hoping there would be something that represented the title in the actual text. There was also a lot of woo, but not a lot of interesting content.

Good book that kept me reading and interested. I liked the story but it did take me a while to get fully into the book.

I received this book through a Goodreads giveaway. While I appreciate some of the stories shared and the authors’ love of everything she has been able to do, this just wasn’t for me.
