Good read
This was a good book. I'm ready for part 2. Neveah definitely has some brain cells missing from Tyrone abusing her. I can't wait to see how Josh and Honor love life turn out. She deserves some real happiness. I think her best friend might start acting jealous once Josh and Honor get together. Even though she's constantly putting it in the atmosphere. Keisha J never disappoints. If you haven't read any of her books, you're definitely missing out.

Lov3 the cliff hanger!!!
I LOVE how the book is not rushed .... I got irritated with nevaeh just a bird brain lol but I get it and Miracle isn't bad she wants the best for her friend I get it I don't like how she goes about it definitely can't wait for part 2

First read and the Woman snapped!
I loved this book. It balanced with the right amount of drama not over the top. I'm rooting Honor & Joshua. I hope the dumb sister (Nevaeh)don't be on any scandalous stuff with her brother & Honor.
I really wish Nevaeh & Rodney Get together. I hope Nevaeh wakes up before its too late and leave that abusive relationship.
Honor friend is suspect she started off good but I don't know. Honor mom is too quiet. Let's see what she say when she finds out her daughter has made it without her.

This book built up so much suspense. I'm happy Josh knowingly wanting Honor is taking his time to build a friendship but they need to watch their backs because her mother and best friend are jealous but I feel they are up to something as well as Abraham is a snake in Josh camp. Naveha needs to leave that abusive relationship and be with someone that has genuine love for her which is Rodney who has Josh back and hers, can't wait for book 2

It's a lot of inside haters in their circle. First, Honor's mom is trash. To think I would throw my child out because they are in between jobs, then she berated her so much, it was ridiculous. Miracle, I started off liking you, but the more Joshua does for Honor, the more she begins to look like a hater. It's not her fault that you are messing with Robert, and he hasn't leveled you up yet. Nevaeh, all I can do is SMH at you, sis. I get that a lot of women in an abusive relationship don't know how to leave, or they feel as if they don't have support, but that's not the case for her. I thought for sure after he put her in the hospital that she would be done, BUT NOOOO, good sis asked her brother and Abraham for money to get him out of jail!!!!! I'm ready to see how Honor and Josh fit together as a couple.

Pretty Weird
I mean I get this is a build up, but something jaw dropping needs to happen to push the reader to the next chapter, that ending not giving, “oh I need to read the next book” also Josh was doing too much at the end…he had no reason checking Miracle because that’s what best friends do and maybe it was written wrong, I read it like, Miracle saw something they couldn’t see between them two. Honor should be checking him for going to her best friend about something so petty. Also, Honor is grown enough to make her own decisions no matter who has anything to say. As a bf, that’s uncomfortable. That completely through me off because, it wasn’t that serious for Josh to go to Miracle. Especially this bestfriend who never crossed you and let you stay with her. It’s just words between friends. That part really annoyed me.

The book presents the characters as if they are in high school and not adults. A lot of contradictions within behaviors and words for some characters. I’m also not a fan of Honor and her selfish behavior toward her best friend. Miracle was right in the grand scheme of things so the treatment of her threw me off.
The word “freaking” being used by the characters also took me out of being immersed which annoyed me. Otherwise the book left me conflicted and angry.
First time reader of the author. I will try to read the rest in hopes that the development of Honor and the others gets better with each book, so far I was left wanting.

I'm Rooting For This Dumpster Fire Of A Book... And I Won't Give Up!
Boring... Oddly written... Long winded... Poor character development... But strangely intriguing. The potential for a great saga is there. I just know there's a good story bubbling under the surface, so I'm going to continue on to book 2 with my fingers crossed. However, as it stands, I wouldn't recommend this book to a friend.

Mmm.. This book started good. Honor was like a church church mouse quiet and soft spoken not into a lot. Honor's kind of harsh didn't treat her too well but Honor should have been had her own place. Ummmm the writing style took s minute for me to adjust to the play by play is not my normal cup of tea...
With that being said, we get some growth from Josh and some glow up fron Honor...

Extremely Slow
Unfortunately, I feel like I wasted my time with this book. It was very slow and basically pointless. There was hardly any character development. I will not be reading book 2. It’s hard to believe that this book received so many stars. I’m side eyeing everyone else’s reviews.

Nicely done
This is a really good read, I I can't tell you the last time I read a hood story that didn't have the main character bussin it wide open Virgin or not within the 1st 3 or 4 chapters so kudos to the author well done and I'm moving on to the follow up
