MASTERFUL

The name Alfred Hitchcock springs to mind with this tale as it combines such macabre and creepy elements into a concisely plotted spin down the gruesome lanes of Horror. It is a short story, yet by no means brief in stature and effect, containing twists and stomach-turns of terror. Jerry McKinney has crafted a scene with atmosphere and depth about a man who feels both affection and repulsion for the women who surround him, neither side able to shatter the bond which keeps them together. Is it guilt, paranoia, love, hate, desire, or insanity? Read and find out Abe's secrets . . . the strange hold he has on the ladies in his life.

Abe always thought he had the upper hand, he was the smart one. He entertained the ladies and he took pleasure in the games that followed. "He sat up and on the edge of the bed and looked down on her mascara-filthy eyes, smearing dark stains on his clean pillow cases." But Abe was about to find out that he was not the only player going to enjoy the games and the score was about to get even. Again, another intense, short story by Jerry with excellent choice of words. (I felt like a fly on the wall reading this piece.) The action starts off immediately and the end is abrupt which makes the reader think.....I love the subtly.

This is the story of Abe. He had a fairly rotten childhood. Now he is grown up he has an eye for the ladies. And they never leave him.....do they....?

This is one of those stories that really gets under your skin. You are reading it and thinking 'OK this is a little weird.' and you carry on and the ending is suddenly, 'Wait...what???' This is why I love Jerry's writing because he is constantly surprising me. It's not even as if Abe is a particularly likeable character but somehow you still end up feeling sorry for him. In this aspect Jerry is a very clever writer. Give this a go, you won't be disappointed.

Abe is the ultimate book for what should happen to every serial killer. Abe thought he had everything together and that he was untouchable..... Abe was wrong!!!! All it takes in one word writen in steam from the shower on the mirror and he finds out how fast thing can go wrong. This is a very detailed short story that will capture you with the first word and keep you captive until it is completely read.

Psychological horror at it's finest. Jerry McKinney takes you into the mind of a man who and leads you down a garden path littered with bones.

Subtle and provocative, Abe is a man who loves his women and they return the favor.
