This is an interesting little book. It is full of short answers to questions such as "Why is the sky blue ?" or "What is a Jury?". However, it is very dated and the science and technology it covers stops at the 1930's. Similarly other topics such as politics and geography would need to be rewritten with the benefit of hindsight.
But with this limitation comes an advantage, it gives an insight into the views and mores of the time. However, be warned society has changed a lot in the last two generations and questions such as "Why is the white race dominant ?" would not now be asked let alone answered.
