Great action, not so great story! Not a bad story, just not more substance or originality to it. It still achieve more than I was hoping for as a marvel comic in those years. I will continue on and see where it goes!

An enjoyable read, though nothing too original yet.

Artwork was pretty badass and bloody so that was cool.

Story seems like it may just lead to the same tired tropes, but I'm hoping for something really original.

Still on the fence, but it was a decent enough intro to the series.

No sign of the wayward daughter, though, which made me sad.

A very strong first issue!

This was a good read and I like the art too. The whole save the world thing has become well…overdone in heroing but I am looking forward to seeing the rest of this saga unfold and will definitely pick up all of the other issues.

Fun. Nothing particularly special or upsetting. Will pick up more issues to keep up with the character but not the top of my pull list.

Blade is contracted to save a woman who is linked to the end of the world. He takes her to a safe house where they're attacked presumably by the man who tried to kill her in the first place.

I have been reading the various Blade comic book runs and I like them a lot! Blade is an interesting character to read about and I think his story is interesting. This series was no different.

I think this issue sets up a good story for the later issues.

As someone who’s never read Blade it’s a pretty meh introduction but I’m interested to see where it goes

Really good first issue which wastes no time.

Thing is, how is Rotha able to speak English and her brother wasn’t able to? Hope that’s not a plot hole.
