A tranquil summer night is shattered by horrified screams when an ill-advised social media stunt goes disastrously wrong. Reeling from their loss, the Graham family comes together and must face some hard decisions about the disposition of the family’s dairy farm. An earthquake in Oklahoma frees the ancient wampuscat, and it proceeds to wreak havoc on college students, there to initiate a dig.

Very entertaining read and leaves wanting more.
Not a bad read. Thoroughly enjoyed the book from start to finish. There are some minor stuff that kept it from getting 5 stars, but still well worth the read. And the way it ends, I really hope there's a sequel to it cause it leaves a lot of questions unanswered.
The minor things that kept it from getting 5 stars was the time/point of view jumping. It bounced around quite a bit and just make it a little hard to keep up with the events. But that could be a personal thing to people. The other bit was how some scenes seemed to be stretched a bit to make up more page space or build word count. I will admit I had to scan/skip over a little bit because it just seemed to drag on on some of the scenes. I won't give any spoilers bit still well worth the time reading, despite minor inconveniences.

A toothy tale
Book was interesting in concept but parts drug along, and cause you to lose focus and adding extra characters in the end I mean most people have other things to do than sit and read a book in one string where you might retain the names and who they are. But then could be my age may be the cause.what was with the six legs. Must have missed that exclamation.

Good Story
I thought it was a good story. There where NOT a number of glaring typos like in many books nowadays. The story was rather long winded in my opinion. However, I think it is a descent read for horror fans such as myself.

I was drawn to this not only because I enjoy the creature feature genre, but because it sounded like something different. Loved the idea of having the Wampus Cat legend be proven true and was looking forward to seeing how the author brought this legend to life. No spoilers here, so read on.
I seem to be in the minority here, but for me the execution ended up falling short of the excellent premise. This book should have been about 100 pages shorter. There's a lot of lengthy descriptions and conversations that just could have been left out and the story would have been better for it. As it stands, it's a chore to read.
Worse, the author writes this from the POV of almost a dozen different characters which makes it difficult to get a nice flow of storytelling going. That'd bad enough, but the biggest problem for me was his strange habit of constantly stating the full name and exact time of the character in question. You'll see things like "Henry Blake 9:58 am" and "Jordan Adler 10:07 am" popping up in bold over and over again, sometimes multiple times on the same page. I don't know why he felt that he had to remind us of the character's full name so often, and why having the exact time something was happening was so important. Heck even the monster itself gets these with "The Beast, 9:43 pm". I found it a very strange and distracting format.
Considering this is a first time novelist this wasn't a bad effort, but this writing style does not make for a good book.

A myth has come to life
The accidental discovery of a cave containing prehistoric tools leads to the meeting of a college professor, his young daughter and several college students with a mythological beast come to life. As a person that is mildly claustrophobic, the journeys of this group of people into unexplored caves explained in the wonderful writing of the author, I felt the walls closing in and kept thinking, these people are crazy. The book drew me in and held me bound from start to finish. Wth the exception of a couple of odd phrases, I found the book well done. "'Is aught amiss?'" "Jamie shot her an annoyed glare through squinted eyes and brought her lips to the corner of her mouth."

Cherokee Danre
A very page turning thriller. A group of young campers turn up dead and a young boy survives, he said it was a monster as her witnessed the massacre. Wildlife officers shot and killed a mountain lion who was chomping on a human arm. Thinking they had caught the killer the search was stopped. However it wasn’t the lion who had killed, it was a mythical saber tooth tiger that had escaped from a cave during an earthquake. A professor and a group of students were called to examine a new cave with artifacts thousand of years old. An Indian legend turned real and the tiger stalks her prey in the caves and forest. A page turner you won’t want to put down. Will any of the students survive? You’ll have to read the book to find out. Great story, well written.

A Native American Legend Brought To Life
Wow I enjoyed this book from beginning to end. The author lends his hand to a legend that Dr Stone and his students find out is far too real. And just when it’s supposed to be trapped once again, we find out that it has escaped back out to wreak even more havoc. Can’t wait to read the sequel.

Excellent story, engaging characters-a fun read. I had to take off one star due to the number of errors in spelling, use of wrong words that sounded like the correct word. Overuse of the word “smirk” is a strong indicator of AI reliance. My recommendation is that the author rely on his own writing along with a competent proofreader and editor.

Thrilling Thriller!
This is a really good story. Well written, the plot is consistent, and "believable". Not that I believe in monsters...but, I love creature features. I highly recommend this for all you lovers of monster stories!

Native American Lore
I enjoy reading Native American books on lore. Combine it with the supernatural and I'm hooked. This book kept my attention from the beginning. It was fast paced, the people were interesting and so was the story. Not to mention it was clean.

Better than I thought
This was a surprise. It had me on the edge of my seat. The only reason it took 2 days to read is because I fell asleep. I can't wait for a second part, i hope there is one.

Different and unique
I chose this book because of the subject matter. It was definitely different. Suspenseful but interesting because of the anthropology and plot. I also live in Tahlequah where the scenes were laid. It was familiar to me .

Well written
I enjoyed this book very much. With the Native American legend and how it all ties together you get a rounded out book. I even appreciate how the story ended.

There are some interesting scenes and I really like the idea of the book. The way the monster in introduced into the story, pretty cool. It's very bloated though I was really bored by like chapter 8 then I checked the glossary and 64 CHAPTERS?!?! DNF 🫠

I have really enjoyed this book. It is very hard to put down. Not had a book to do this in a long time. It is good from the beginning to the end. Well worth the time it takes to read.

Cherokee Sabre is a very good book by a new author. It is well thought out and gives vivid details. I think it would make a great movie!

A Scary story you can not miss
You did not know what was going to happen from one page to the next. A you can not put the story down till the end . GREAT book.
