Growing up in the south where the air is thick with stories steeped in legend and truth, Debra came by her love of romance novels honestly. Well…sort of. At an early age, she pilfered from her grandmother’s extensive library and has been a fan of the genre since.
A full time freelance writer, Debra especially enjoys combining history, mystery and a touch of taboo to weave stories with unforgettable, haunted heroes.
She lives in Alabama with her sexy real life hero, a couple of smart-aleck ghosts and a diabolical black cat.
What can I say....WOW!!!!! When I first started reading, I thought that the stories would be erotica set in the 18th and 19th century. By the time I finish reading "Restraint", I understood that Ms. Glass was making S&M and domination as the way her female characters claim their independence and feminist power! Both characters have no say in their potential marriage partners. However, through sexual "submission", they learn about their feminine power, and how to wield it over their male counterparts. Thus, giving them sexual independence in an otherwise dismal situation. In the end, they learn who their true loves are and who they are on the inside. Using sexual domination in this way was a new reading experience for me, but I liked it!
