A very general look at depression in children and young teens. Geared toward the parent who thinks their child might be depressed (and who does not mind the rather overwhelming focus on how parenting could be the cause). Does not go into detail about how depression symptoms, especially in young children, can differ significantly (irritability, anger) from the "typical" symptoms.
While it may be a useful overview, it is not particularly helpful for parents who have received a diagnosis of depression or who have questions that go even a touch below the most basic level.
