This one was way too expensive for how little we actually used it this semester

pretty long & didn't appreciate some of his commentary between cases. my favorite was the one where the man stole a bunch of lumber, but he thought it was abandoned lumber, so he got acquitted.

kind of a slay? loved the inclusion of social commentary from feminist theorists, and statistics about racial and gendered violence. there is a lot of tension in criminal law, and I think Dressler communicated that clearly. here's to hoping more jurisdictions will listen to science, and to victims of violence, and adapt their policies.
