He desperately wants to find approval and love from another man in the midst of his hardship. When Cave and Justice discover that they are mates, can Cave accept that Justice truly loves him and not just the idea of being in love? ** A Siren Erotic Romance
This book is hotter than the previous one,and I also love some sex scenes in it,I figure out that they have the potential to make this book intrigue for me to continue.
Like the first book, this second one needs to be taken with a consderable grain of salt. The concept of elves hating the North Pole and Christmas is explained in a little more detail in this volume, and there is a nice little twist at the end as well. It heals some of the 'damage' and brings back Horse and Bren (from book 1).
There was a little more story here, some more play around the idea of D/s, but the key was Justin's issues, including the healing process. An encounter with some more paranormal beings gives Justin and Cave the opportunity to bond around more than 'just' being mates.
If you're looking for light entertainment, a lot of humor and poking fun at existing elf and Christmas legends, you may like this book.
typical joyee flynn serial romance. nothing fantastic, nothing so bad it can't be finished. what is typical joyee flynn? imagine a shorter harlequin romance but with no t&a (see, i was going to write no surprise pregnancies, but... yeah.).
out of sheer laziness, i will be using this as my template for all books by : joyee flynn sunny day lynn hagen stormy glenn scarlett hyacinth carol lynne gabrielle evans
unless otherwise noted. i'd apologize, but i'm not sorry. i figure it's about as much time as they put into their books. dammit! well, i made it all the way to the end being rather moderate in my assessment. that's a win
This is a series of 12 elves who have left the North Pole to live in the human world. Each book tells about each elf finding their "mate". It is a wonderful series. I am writting this review after I have finished all 12 books. I was able to read a book each night when I went to bed. I usually read for about 5 hours after I go to bed. I love this author. I think I am about the finish all the books that she has written. Once you read one of her books you will pretty much know how the book will flow. I enjoy that for a light easy read. Really good series.
enjoyable but omg Justice is freaking needy and insecure and emotionally immature and a little annoying! !!! Cave is cool and sounds kinda hot and dominating but his mate is a bit of a sad case. I actually kinda wish he did end up with the werewolf alpha Peter. I'm not saying cave and justice don't make a good couple bc they do but sometimes justice flying off the haven't got old and the fact that it never bothered cave was annoying too. But somehow it didn't ruin the book.
Much like the first book with the focus on Cave and his mate. Reader's get more info about the elves and a wolf pack is presented in this story and we find out how they play into everything concerning Justice's beating. I really liked Cave's display of power in defense of his mate.
