This book is rich in evidence but poor in general conclusions. While the author brings evidence of waw-consecutive in Northwest Semitic languages, little information is given concerning how that influenced the development of the verbal form in Biblical Hebrew. This book may be useful for advanced scholars, but not for merely interested dilettantes such as me.
