In the style of Animal Farm, ‘Letting Go’ explores our attitudes to change through the metaphors of Donkey, Beetle and Cat. Stoic and unthinking, frantically scurrying, relaxed and seemingly unruffled, the three characters allow the reader to explore their own attitudes towards the change we face in all of our lives. Rather than instruct with packaged solutions, the book is designed to invite the reader to reflect on the challenges they face and how the way they view the world shapes their approach to change. The main story is supported by over 80 carefully selected quotations which serve as prompts to stimulate new perspectives and invite ‘thought excursions’ away from the book.
