This is a brief but interesting tour of the many curious stone circles that dot the landscapes of the UK. The photography is stunning and undoubtably deserves many hours of study.
Arranged into three main sections (according to chronology) this book gives some brief descriptions and archaeological details for about 6 dozen negalithic sites across Britain and Ireland. But the lion's share of the book is devoted to the brilliant photography of Max Milligan, at least one or two shots for each site, some of which is completely otherworldly. A beautiful book.
