I liked the idea of this story line of this series, however the author has a tendence to be jerky in her writing style. Also there were several times when the stroy could have been expaneded and add depth that the story didn't have. I really liked the characters and wanted the story to really have given me more conversation about the events whether it was day to day or just the "gals" getting use to their new situation. The bedroom sceens the guys would just jump out of bed after the "made love"leaving the the woman, cause they (the men) had to go do something. I felt sorry that they couples could not sleep togehter and cuddled. Now this is the first menage where the men did not truly "share" their woman. And I have to wonder if this way might not be the way most real menage relationships go. Each of the men had their "own time" with thier lady, and very limited three-some bed play time. I was not really bothered by that so much as it made me really wonder if I could call it a menage relationship.

I'd like to ask the author to take this series back and "flesh" it out, she had so many chances to do that and I just feel she missed it, and I really kept reading the first three books, hoping that the next book would have fleshed things out a bit more....

So read them but don't expect a depth, just fast fun.

After seeing the ratings for books by this author I decided to give her a try. I was very disappointed. I found her writing to be simple and novicelike. The way information was introduced in some parts of the story was clumsy and, I found, laughable. The sex scenes felt rushed and lacking though all the expected elements were there. I was also irritated at the insistence that the heroine had to have extra sensory capabilities just because she fought her kidnappers despite not having combat training. Like duh! It's called self-preservation! It doesn't take 'special' powers to know to kick a man in the groin. I think I'll pass on the test of the series.

Kind of an interesting spin to a paranormal / western story. Its got that "mate" thing going for it but its got a bit of cowboy warrior edge to it as well. It will be interesting to read more...

Sara Calhoun is scared to death when she awakes and finds herself being kidnapped and accused of bieng a spy, ready to fight her way out of the situation the only obstacle in her way is the Commander Mitch Stanton who creates an undeniable attraction when he gets close and has her losing her focus.

When Mitch realizes that Sara is his mate, he quickly calls his half-brother Daren Connor to see if the same senstation draws Sara to him as well. Mitch also knows that Sara has been mistakenly taken and is not a spy, knowing that though Mitch and Daren will have to find a way to convince Sara that she is their mate and to leave her normal life to spend eternity with them.

I was not sure what to expect based on the description for this title, however, that being said the book was addicting. I was completely enthralled by the paranormal aspect, yet the mesh with human normalcy was intriguing. Had a few flaws but overall a very entertaining read.

It was a good story but the build of it was kinda messy. It was to much to fast. And there could have being some more explanation to it and the sex more in depth not that hurried.

There where lots of sex scene but they were fast. They kiss, they touch, they come together and they finish. There was no sentiment behind it.

Also the explanation about their ancestors. It was way to little. I just hope that in future books we get to see more of the big picture and not the same we already got.

I can't believe I read this. Thank you to Trevor, my librarian friend, for putting this on reserve for me without me knowing. You have opened my eyed to sexy polygamous alien cowboy spies with a thing for redheads.

Interesting theme and cute story. It needs more angst though, and the story went a little bit too fast I got confused.

But overall, I enjoyed it but not exactly my favorite. And no, I don't think I'll continue with this series.

Mitch. Darren. Sara.

Mitch is sweet and thoughtful. Darren is Rough and tumble and very hot.Sara loves both men. She comes around quick. She does not just accept everything. She runs. She argues and in the end they are a great match. Love the first of this series.
