Ich habe mein Bestes getan, um diese Geschichten in allen Einzelheiten wiederzugeben, egal wie abscheulich sie auch sein mögen. In diesen wahren Kriminalgeschichten werden Sie feststellen, dass die Wahrheit wirklich seltsamer und weitaus verstörender ist als die Fiktion.
In meinem ersten Buch als Autor von wahren Verbrechen habe ich mit ein paar Geschichten begonnen, die mich schon seit einiger Zeit verfolgen. Einige dieser Geschichten sind unglaublich in ihrer Brutalität, während andere durch die Dummheit der Mörder verblüffend sind. Da gibt es die Geschichte eines religiösen, evangelikalen Christen, der lieber seine Frau und seine beiden kleinen Jungen erwürgt, als seinen wichtigen Job in der Kirche zu verlieren.
Dann gibt es die Geschichte eines Mannes, der die Körperöffnungen seiner Frau mit Fett füllt, damit sie von innen entflammbar wird. Es gibt die Geschichte des Kleinstadtarztes, der sich auf unglaubliche Weise selbst operiert, um nicht wegen Vergewaltigung seiner Patientinnen ins Gefängnis zu kommen.
Außerdem gibt es weitere Geschichten über Serienkiller, die Städte terrorisieren, und Tatorte, die Ermittler und erfahrene Polizisten zu Tränen rühren. Die Geschichten dieser Sammlung stammen aus der ganzen Welt und haben nichts gemeinsam, außer dass sie zum Nachdenken anregen und beunruhigend sind. Die Geschichten in diesem Sammelband sind düster und gruselig und werden Ihnen ein neues Verständnis dafür vermitteln, wie zerbrechlich der menschliche Geist sein kann.

Ziemlich schauerliche Verbrechen, die hier nacherzählt werden. Es scheint fast, als habe sich der Autor wirklich die schlimmsten Kriminalfälle herausgesucht. Nichts für schwache Nerven.

Good information, poor presentation
The crimes covered in this volume are truly disturbing, shocking and horrific. Some are covered more thoroughly than others, but the reader can Google any case for which more information is sought.
The writing was quite unprofessional with incomplete sentences and inconsistent usage of verb tenses. Everything in the book has already happened, so there is no need to use present tense.
I would like to see more books in this series, but hopefully in better shape before publishing.

Another example of why Jason Neil is so freaking awesome!
Leave it to Jason Neil to find stories that I’ve never heard of and the ones I did hear of, they work told the way Jason tells them. He holds no punches and doesn’t keep details to himself because he thinks his readers are too soft to hear the gritty detail. That is why Jason Neil is my new favorite true crime rider.
From the youngest serial killer in Britain who happens to be a 10-year-old girl, to the head of security for a well liked a van Jellicle preacher who was so into loving God he thought sending his family there was a great idea or maybe it was because of his girlfriend? To the pregnant woman who wasn’t pregnant and had to take another woman’s baby, unfortunately the other woman didn’t live to tell the tale. The stores are so good and I mean no disrespect to the victims when I say that. What I mean is it was just amazed you the things people will do to try and get their way. Talk about selfish people. You must read this book if you are a true crime fan you need to get on the Jason Neil bandwagon and have his books in your library you will not regret getting them. He is the only true crime author that I can think of that goes the extra mile to get not so heard of stories. The only one I can think of that did that is AN rule, may she rest in peace. So Jason Neil is right on time.

A short and sharp collection of eight true crime stories. Ideal for those who want the bare facts without the graphic details. I found there were a couple of stories I wasn't familiar with, so it was interesting to find out about those that I could then look into in further detail.
I'm working my way through this collection and hope to find some other cases new to me.

Yikes -- there is a little girl in here named Mary who is just truly terrifying!
This is a collection of eight true crime cases. Each case is briefly discussed, although enough details are given to give you a sense of the crime (in case you want to do future research). It makes for a breezy, if not disturbing, read.

🐾🐶📖 Little story before I give my review! I was reading this while walking home from school and I walk through a kinda ally way sorta thing but it's very open still. Anyways, as I was walking, the story (from this book) I was reading got to the actually killing and what this particular killer did to the body and suddenly a dog began barking at me and I SCREAMED. Aloud.. and like 5 people turned their heads to look at me as if I was insane or being murdered myself. 😵🤭
Hope that made ya giggle.😂 Anyways my review ⬇️⬇️⬇️

I gave it 4.5 stars because although it was VERY good and had all the elements that it should have being a collection of true crime stories, I wouldn't read it again so it lost that 0.5 star.

It was chilling and a bit disgusting at times. It made me tear up. I highly recommend this if you like crime tv shows and movies. It let's you dive into the crime details and tells you the sentence that the criminal(s) were given. Overall an amazing and interesting read.

10/10 I love this.. I loved it I loved it lol not in a creepy way of course - it's set out in nice small sections to read cuts to the chase and doesn't overly describe peoples past, sticks to the crimes, the pertinent information, spectacular

Interesting book!
This book was fascinating. It detailed the crimes of serial killers as well as other killers. The reasons for the crimes were as varied as greed and sex. I found a few typographical errors in the book. I highly recommend it to other true crime readers.

These stories were quite interesting. I've read many true crime stories over the years and these are not ones commonly found. Several I had never read before or in the detail given.
These are not sophisticated essays. They are an easy to read and understand set of true crime stories. If you want more on these stories you can easily do more research on your own. But what Mr. Neal has provided are very compelling and disturbing readings.
I plan to read Jason Neal's Second book soon.

NOT FOR THE FAINT OF HEART
This book is a crash course on true crime cases, definitely not for the faint of heart. There's a lot of detail here, and I sometimes felt like I was on overload because the stories were so short, so reading one after the other after the other could sometimes give you a lot of gory details. Not to be read before bed, that's for sure.

I love true crime stories. However, sometimes they are too long and drawn out. Jason writes more like the "Cliff Notes" versions of these stories and before you know, the books are done. Very easy and quick to read, stories that I've heard of. LOVED it~!

This is a good read. Interesting and informative. However, some of the cases I found very disturbing and found it difficult to continue reading. But, it’s the truth and you will read details and facts of the case that the media wouldn’t dare reveal.

I don’t dislike anything about this book. I thought it was in perfect detail although the chapters made me cringe just hearing the details of what happened to the victims. Keep them coming though. I need to read book 3 now.

I enjoyed this book
Very well written, and interesting cases. There are a couple of cases I had read before, but the author delved a bit more into the murderers past thus allowing the reader to learn more about the cases, as well as, the killer.

Good mixture of cases, some well known some not so well known. If you like ?True crime drama then you will enjoy this. i found it easy to read and none of the problems others seemed to see, and Im quite fussy! Interesting stories some stranger than fiction. Will definitely read more by this writer.

I usually prefer books with more pages and one subject. More in Novel form. However I found this collection to be well written. It held my interest. The author presented the stories with the most important aspects of the crimes. Good reading!
