This is the first book I've read from Laurinda D. Brown and it was pretty good. I'd like to give it higher than three stars really but I can't go so far as four.
I assumed it was a novel and it's not- it's a load of short- very short- stories. I think anyone who likes erotic short stories would be in heaven because they are written well- all were suspenseful, all the characters were great, plot-lines fine, etc.
That leads me to the 'erotic' part- I didn't know (yeah, despite the cover I still didn't know) that this is "erotica". I've so far stayed away from the genre because if nothing else, I'm quite shy about sex, talking about sex, reading about sex, anything but the actual sex actually. But, if all erotica is like this I say bring it on. It was a nice change really. Nothing was offensive, nothing was for shock value, nothing at all like what I kind of, sort of expected erotica to be. (I don't think I'll be running out to gather up erotic books now- I don't expect the entire genre to be of this caliber for some reason.)
After seeing how she can write, and can write well though, I'm looking forward to reading Undercover but I have to get Fire & Brimstone first because- of course- it's a part of a series and I- of course- had no freaking idea.

Guess I did not understand this app when I downloaded it, I was thinking after I down loaded it I would be able to read the book here when it is now clearly not the case it is just a place to find the books that you want to read bummer most of the books I read I read for free local library or on overdrive read e books or audio books when I cross check the books here that I like to read here with the other apps that I have on my iPhone I find that the books I want the most are not even in those apps so fore this app is just taking up space on my iPhone wish these apps would work together e read, audio books, and are local library.

I liked the insight that our heroine learns from her older man. I thought the conclusion was a little disjointed.
