Malicious Pursuit

Rate this book
Desperate to protect her daughter, Ruth Ferguson kidnaps the four-year-old and flees Maine in the dead of night. The young mother has but two days to escape the child’s abusive father, and to make a new life far from everyone she knows.

That same night, on the outskirts of the nation’s capital, Spencer Rollins stumbles upon a coworker’s murder. Terrified by the scene, she bolts, only to be pursued by federal agents who might even be the killers.

When their frantic lives collide in Manassas, Virginia, each woman’s fate is delivered to the other’s hands. Together, they work to unravel the conspiracies that have them on the run.

I must get myself and my daughter out of this awful situation. We deserve better than this. I did not murder my best friend. I must get out of here so I can figure out what happened and why I am to blame. Several lives collide in the most weird yet interesting way. The story build up was engulfing and the ending was quick.

A far fetched story with a ridiculous resolution, but still an entertaining commute/beach read.

Good solid story

I have read many KG books & really loved all of them. Malicious Pursuit is one of my favorites, though. The story starts with a bang and zoom! We're off to the races with a very exciting story with a he'll of slot of action and some very sweet romance. Also, some LOL , spit your coffee out, dialogue! love this book. Do yourself a favor - own a copy😉

MP had me...

On the edge of my seat...I didn't want to put it down...but life interfered and I had no choice, but it wasn't down for long.
A great read. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Ruth's situation...Spencer's mess...plausible...

This my favorite book from this author. I’ve read almost all of the books she’s ever written. I wish she wrote more thrillers like this. Strong characters, logical situations, down to earth, every day issues.
