Read for a uni module, and genuinely brought a lot of life to the presupposed mundanity of economic history. Funny characters, funny quirks and a story rather than a textbook. Somewhat dated but very insightful

This is a solid way to review some famous economists and understand why you've heard their name; but also an interesting way to organize in your mind how Economics as a discipline progressed in waves, in a popular sense. I'll remember it for both reasons!

I find the writing more complex than it needs to be, could be a tad simpler.
