I think this book is probably useful if English is not your first language or if leadership doesn't come naturally to you in any way. I found some sections pretty silly and many phrases, if used, would sound very canned. I was expecting more narrative and compelling examples along with activities.

My partner ordered this book because word of mouth said that it was pretty good. Again, we just aren't the right audience for it.

This book teaches you how to (ask/respond to) certain things politely or impolitely, it has nothing to do with leadership.
However, its useful and helpful for non-native English speakers mainly.

The tongue is a powerful tool or a dangerous weapon. What sets this book apart from others is how it presents leadership phrases in a range from positive to adversarial. The topics cover a wide range of both professional and personal situations. You still need wisdom and discipline to choose the correct response for your circumstances but this book will give you the verbal ammunition you need.

The Leader Phrase Book is by far one of my favorite reads on Leadership. It taught me a lot of phrases that I can use in virtually "ANY"" situations. I found that the author uses humor and sarcasm, which I learned a lot from.
GOOD READ !

I’m quite impressed that the author collected all these sayings. It’s just a great phrase book that can be adapted to various scenarios.

Did not like at all. Every category of “phrasing” is on a spectrum, for example from “respectful” ways to say something to “disrespectful” ways to say something. The content was so-self explanatory and I felt like I gathered nothing new from reading this book. Perhaps I just wasn’t the right audience for it.

A few helpful phrases that can be useful. Largely used it to make fun of silly phrases.

I found this book when I went to Portugal during the summer of 2012.
It was on the shelves at the airport.
I particularly enjoyed the suggestion it gives in Portuguese language. Really liked it !

I bought this book on Paperback as well as on Kindle edition.
While I like the paper formatting to be a lot better, I really enjoyed reading the quality content that this book has to offer.

Should have been a 10 page pamphlet with half as many phrases. Skip if you're looking for a narrative approach to speaking like a leader. Read if you like lists.
