Hellfire MC #6

Hell's Vengeance

Rate this book
A woman took his reason for living. Now he has his son back and is out for revenge. Someone would pay for the pain he and his boy had suffered. An easy-going brother shows his dark side as he seeks payback. Except an innocent gets caught in the crossfire. And with blinkered vision, he is far too slow to realise what’s under his very nose.

She was clueless as to what was happening. One minute happily working and the next facing down an irate father determined to defend his child at all costs. She sensed he blamed her for something she hadn’t done, but she wasn’t a dormouse! He could take his attitude and shove it. Nobody spoke to her like that, not since she escaped hell.

His temper was up, and he was cruising for a bruising. Except he might be the one who gets bruised. A past nightmare returns but with two victims in mind. One Hellfire can protect; the second, well, she’s about to shoot a brother straight between the eyes.

Hellfire has never been slow to fire up, but they are slow to simmer down, and boy, can they hold a grudge. Funny enough, so can this woman!

I liked this one, but it was just ok too. It seemed like there was a lot going on, almost like you could divide the book into parts.

Banshee gets his boy back, but goes scorched earth on an innocent. - This goes about how you think with lots of remorse after the fact.
Innocent turns out to be involved in the same cult as Alice, heck they are even related. The first part I could buy, the second was harder.
School shooting, where Sallie and Troy are in danger. Sadly this was the most believable part and I hated reading about it.
Banshee finally claims Sallie and it's hearts and flowers.

Sure that glossed over somethings, but pretty much covers it. The romance between Shee and Sallie was so hard to buy into with his initial anger and actions and then after not much happened, then they were together.

Great story

Sallie-Anne was a teacher hiding from her past when she met Troy mother. Shee searched everywhere for his kidnapped son. Now reunited Shee wants revenge taking out on Salli.
This story is so full of powerful emotions and misunderstanding. But in true Hellfire form the truth is revealed and HEA happens. Can't wait for the next one.

We are back with Hellfire with Elizabeth N Harris’ Hell’s Vengeance which is the 6th book of the Hellfire series. Hellfire has gone through a lot, and you would get the whole impact if you read the series from the beginning – you hear bits and pieces of it throughout this story so I am sure it will make you curious enough!
This book is the story of Banshee’s vengeance – he has the full custody of his son Troy, but his ex took him and disappeared 5 years earlier, he has been looking ever sense. The mother is as flighty as ever and after having met Troy’s teacher Sallie Anne and I would say by ‘grooming’ her (pulling her in bit by bit), she leaves Troy with her ‘temporarily’ and takes off with her new man. By chance Bear sees them and runs towards them but Sallie Anne is scared and runs but she is tracked down and hell breaks loose! She loses everything though her only sin was to take care of Troy!
I so wanted to kick Banshee throughout the story as his bitterness and vengeance, it was over the top! I do understand that he had been missing and looking for his son for 5 years, but Hellfire’s credo is “no harm to women and innocents”! Well, he gets a wakeup call that comes with a lot of complications and there are surprise revelations that blow your mind!
I cannot wait for the next Hellfire story! It gets better and better with each book!

Although this book was supposed to be a standalone, there was a HUGE info dump in the prologue that mentioned SO many events and characters that we were supposed to know from previous books, I felt like I had walked into the middle of a movie and had NO idea what was going on.

Just in the first few pages, the book mentioned Thalia, Clio, Chance, Alice, Diesel, Magic, Calamity, Fanatic, Rooster, Pyro, Bunny, Klutz, Phoe, Celt, Chey, Wraith, Slaughter, Levi, Troy, Shee and Hawthorne with no explanation as to who they were or their relationship to the main characters.

There was a vague reference to a bombing, an attack by a cult, losing their clubhouse, someone losing a leg, someone going into early labour and having to have a hysterectomy, someone getting a pole through their shoulder, someone else having PTSD, someone going on “secret missions”, someone being hospitalized with a serious infection, someone saving someone else’s son from something that wasn’t explained (?), someone’s arm healing from something else that wasn’t explained (?), a couple of people escaping something that yet again wasn't explained (?) with minor injuries and something about a ten year old boy possibly being kidnapped.

Yeah, this is the first time I have ever DNF a book after only reading the prologue.

Love the Hellfire MC series

The long-running plot of Shee's ex disappearing with their son Troy twists and turns as Troy reunites with Shee and Hellfire. A random sighting leads the MC to Troy and Sallie, the woman the ex had taking care of Troy. I was angry with Shee as he torments Sallie for months after proven innocent of kidnapping Troy. I admire Sallie's persistence in rebuilding a life even as Shee continues to harass her. New faces enter the cast of characters, setting up a third book series. Yippee! Understandably, Sallie loathes what Shee has done. There is a great scene where she unloads her hate for Shee in front of the club. Nemeses from the past are coming after Sallie, requiring the MC and the old ladies to protect Sallie. Harris takes artistic license in magically relocating the school where Sallie taught previously two hours north to Spearfish. I found the transition from hate to love by both Shee and Sallie lacking. There was little internal dialog by Shee or Sallie relating how hate turns to love. One sex scene, and it is spicy! Still a very good read.

Read and heed the trigger warning.

Things have been happening at Hellfire so it’s time for something good to happen. Banshee’s ex took their son and disappeared 5 years earlier. Shee’s been searching for Troy ever since but there’s been nothing found until now. Troy’s mother met Sallie-Anne and left him with her. They moved to Spearfish, and this is where everything takes place. Now, I’ve always thought the world of Banshee and couldn’t wait to read his book until now. He treats Sallie-Anne like the worst piece of trash on earth and I’m so disappointed in him. She’s done nothing but take care of his son but because of Shee, she’s lost everything. Now we all know that he makes everything right in the end but how he gets there, it just makes me want to kick his butt clear up to his shoulders!!! In the end, it turns out to be awesome as usual. I love this series because they just keep living up to our expectations! This is definitely one of my favorite books. I recommend you going and reading it.

awesome

“Please take note of the trigger warning for this book although the subject is well written and handled with care and compassion there are scenes some people may find distressing”

Well what another emotional rollercoaster of a ride Elizabeth takes us on again and what a story she tell’s. This story is based on Banshee his missing son Troy and the amazing lady who has been caring for him while his mother has been off living her life. Instead of being great full to Sallie for take such great care of his Boy Banshee focuses all his hate for his ex onto Her and boy he does not hold back he will frustrate you and for a while you really will not like him !!! But never fear he will see the light that is Sallie and get his HEA You however will need tissues and a lay down amazing book so well written bring on the next 😊

Absolutely awesome read. I loved Banshee and Sally’s story ❤️❤️❤️ this book was brilliantly written, so much happening within the one story. Sally and the abandoned child Troy, who had been left with her by his uncaring mother cared for each other. Banshee finding his kidnapped boy and blaming Sally. Sally’s escape from hospital and Banshee’s cruel (but undeserved) vengeance. Rescued by a beautiful family. Banshee finally coming to his senses in time to rescue Sally. A school shooting scene that was heartfelt and so well written about. Facing down her tormentors she’d escaped from at a young age at the same time she faces down Troy’s wayward mother. So much action and drama filling the pages of this brilliant novel. 100% recommend this book to everyone ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Get the Tissues Ready

Whew, this one got me. I think I cried just as much reading this book as when I read Artemis’ story. The FMC went through hell and back so many times I was waiting for her to break completely. The only part I was not a big fan of was that the MMC and FMC never really had heavy discussion on what he did to her. He made one big effort and then it was like it didn’t happen. Also, the club themselves NEVER apologized or discussed the parts they played in the initial downfall of the FMC. Didn’t like that being blown over, because it goes against the club and what they believe in.

Overall though, great read as usual from Harris and so looking forward to the next ones. Also, wondering if the Parks are going to get their own series??

Grief and money, two factors that can turn people into something no one recognizes.

Banshee had his son kidnapped by his boy's mother. Years go by as Shee searches for his son. Bear just happens to catch a look at Troy, Shee's boy, only because Troy saw Bear and called out to him.

Sallie has basically raised Troy from the time she first met the young boy. Lies were told, forged documents given, and the lives of three innocent people are forever changed.

Be forewarned, there are some triggers that might make reading this book a bit difficult for some. Especially considering what has happened in the past few months in the United States. This is a very emotional invoking story. It ties into Alice and Diesel's story in a very unexpected way.

Excellent story but please (I cannot stress this enough) pay attention to the trigger warnings! I was really worried in the beginning that Shee was going to go to far and not be able to redeem himself, but he did in a big way. I kind of wish that the bull had paid him a little more attention though. Trust me. You'll agree he deserves it. A man mired down in bitterness and anger after losing his child, and a woman who saves his child after losing her own; and then sacrifices herself to save others. These two absolutely deserve each other, and you won't be sorry for giving them a chance. Also, can we please see more of the Parks??

Amazing and emotional

Please be aware this book contains Tiggers.

This book is Banshee story. Without giving to many spoilers away Banshee's son was kidnapped by his ex and he's finally reunited him. This book had me in tears and emotionally drained reading about Banshee's struggles with the pain of not knowing were his son was. And the pain he caused and trying to write he's wrongs. Plus it's always nice catching up with the gang. As always I love how when Elizabeth chooses to write about sensitive issues she's always able to handle it with dignity and grace. Congratulations Elizabeth a another amazing story!!. Can't wait to see who's next xx

Good Book

This was another enjoyable read with a story that pulled me further into the Hellfire MC world. This was a confusing read for me, I could see both sides of what happened in the story and as much as I was outraged by some things I couldn’t say that I would have listened to the other side of the story after what Shee had been through. On the other hand, and especially when we learned Sallie-Anne’s background, I’m not sure I would have forgiven so easily. I really do love a book that gets me thinking about things and that’s exactly what this book did. I would most definitely recommend reading this book.

HOLY COW!!!!! This book has been one huge emotional story! PLEASE PAY ATTENTION TO THE TRIGGER WARNINGS...... Hell's Vengeance touches in a lot of tough, intense, emotional subjects. These characters are absolutely perfect and they women these men love are FIERCE! Banshee and Sallie have a rough start to say the least but with a little push they finally find where they're supposed to be. And we can't forget Troy. This kid is so much older and wiser than his years. Hell's Vengeance is one heckuva story!

Hell’s Vengeance by Elizabeth N Harris

Banshee and Sallie-Anne story is about a vengeance against an innocent women. Tracey Banshee’s ex stole their son who Banshee had full custody of. Banshee thinking Sallie helped Tracey keep him away from his son made her life horrible. He later found out that she had no part of keeping Troy from him. They received their HEA but not with out a lot of forgiveness on Sallie’s part. I can’t wait for the next book by Elizabeth no matter what series. Her writing is superb.

That was crazy how that turned out. I would have never believed how petty Banshee could b when he perceived things wrong cause he was 2 busy with anger cause of his stupid bitch of a ex. His ex kidnapped their son and he's been trying 2 find him ever since. When he does find him it's not always what u c until u find out the facts 1st. When things spiral out of control what will Sally-ann do? will banshee learn 4giveness b4 it's 2 late or loose everything b4 he can have anything? i was upset toward the end cause of it being really emotional.

Whew this was a ride

This book was just a lot. Like way too much. There was a huge info dump at the beginning, I guess so this book could be called a standalone, but it was too much and just left me saying huh?
The book felt like a late installment of the fast and the furious where everything, including the kitchen sink and the toilet and a toaster were thrown in and you ended up in a car with a rocket strapped to it in space saying what?
And then the instalove between the H and h just left me saying when did this even happen?

Great story!!

This is the seventh book in this phenomenal series and this is Shee and Sallie's story.
This is a well written action packed emotional roller coaster, with family, friendships, danger, suspense, intrigue, challenges, heartbreak, humour, witty banter, misunderstandings, secrets, undeniable chemistry, and love which all leads to an entertaining, and unpredictable addictive page turner.
I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.

It pains me to only give this book 3 stars as all the others have a 5 star rating. I found this book to be all over the place. The main reason for 3 stars is that the writing reminded me of the first few books. The flow wasn't there and there were so many "English" words that it just didn't read right. It's unfortunate because the storyline was excellent. It was also very rushed towards the ending.

What a fantastic read! This book was such beautiful and inspiring read. The author did a wonderful job of putting you right into the story. You feel every emotion and your heart feels every scene. I loved how forgiveness and acceptance played major roles in this story. I was just overwhelmed with how respectful and honest the author dealt with hard subjects. I absolutely adore this amazing read.

This book does have triggers so be forewarned. It will tear your emotions every which way. As usual Elizabeth does a great job of writing and making you feel everything. Yes I was mad at Sallie-Ann, then I was mad at Banshee. There are so many twists and turns in this story, it keeps you reading to see what happens next. This review is hard to write without giving away parts of those twists and turns. Yes there are parts of the book I did not like, but then there are parts that I loved.

read this one

I enjoyed this MC story. It starts off with her taking care of her friends child. This teacher gets a shock when she is held for questioning as the kidnapper of Troy. It’s a misunderstanding but the boys Father doesn’t believe she was not involved in kidnapping Troy. Many things happen to her as her past is reveled and one thing after another puts her life in jeopardy. An enjoyable read. HEA, no cheating, no cliffhanger. Enjoy

wowza

Wow… this book tackles a lot of issues and is part of a series that explores even more issues.

Cult, MC, kidnapping, abuse, loss, forgiveness, resiliency, and love are all part of this storyline. A single dad rescues his son. A beloved teacher with a sad past helps find her family and protect a child.

If you like single parent, enemies to lovers story this will not disappoint. My mind is still spinning from all the details.

Happy Reading Everyone.

Please read the trigger warnings which is about chapters 9 and 10. Unfortunately, the subject that is discussed in those chapters is happening more frequently. One time was to many. Other than that this book was excellent. Shee acted poorly but was able to redeem himself. Sallie has such a huge heart.

Elizabeth has a way of spinning her stories that suck you in and make you feel everything.

This book was truly amazingly written. There are aspects that could be triggering for some, but the way she handles them is truly a testament to her writing abilities.

This book is fantastic and I truly think it should be read.

This book was well written and upsetting in some parts, Sallie-Anne is a good kind hearted teacher that was taken advantage of by a manipulative woman. The school shooting was very emotional and draining. Sallie did the right thing to protect the children but sadly got hurt in the process. But in the end She found love and family that would do anything to protect her.

Heartbreaking...

Attention grabbing from the start.. Wrote a really hard storyline that is always heartbreaking to read and in a way it's good that it's included but such a shame it happens too much .
Shee wasn't my favourite as I think he got off too easy and the club but loved Sally..

Tough one to get through but amazing read.

Hellfire has been through hell for sure. Many times in this story a deep breath and and wipe of the tears is needed. Sadness, heartbreak and anger but also much forgiveness are part of the story. Make sure you are aware of the trigger warning found in the beginning of the book.

A heart-wrenching emotional read

While reading trigger warning is advised. It's dealt with in a very sensitive manner

She's done it again. An amazing, heart wrenching story in the Hellfire MC Sega, grab tissues.
Banshee has been in torment for years because his son was taken by his ex. And when he finds him with Sally let's just say that I was very disappointed in Banshee, he totally acted like a ass and destroyed her life by getting her fired from her job and then making her homeless and in danger by her past. Sally's character intermingle's with another character that will surprise the hell out of you. She is a very strong person and all she wanted to do was escape from her horrific past, love Troy and live her life. I'm glad that they both got their HAE.
