About the author

Raven is an award winning author and poet of picture books. She's a journalist for Story Monsters Ink magazine and Voice. She writes for children's magazines such as Highlights for Children, Ladybug, Cricket, and Hello. Raven is the Creative & Publishing Advisor for RedClover Reader, and writes educational storybooks for various children's publishers. She's a contributing author for Reading is Fundamental (SOCAL) and I Am A Promise Books.

Her work is published in anthologies, in DVD and CD format, in both public and home schooling programs. Raven has won several awards including Excellence in Children's Literature, A Golden Box Books, NABE's Pinnacle, SCBWI Magazine Merit, and Global Impact Award. She remains active with charity work, and presenting children's workshops for elementary classes and in libraries. Raven is a member of the SCBWI and ILA and IBPA.

Strolling the beach, music, reading, spring flowers, a warm wood stove, and straight-out-of-the-oven butterscotch chocolate chip cookies inspire many of her poems and stories.

Picture books are a toddler's favorite because they are catchy and easy for tutors to illustrate what the book is saying the. Raven Howell understands this secret and uses it to create an educational children’s read.
With this book, Children can effortlessly learn about various kinds of weather and the change attributed to seasons.

The sequence in rhythm would serve children in comprehension and enhance reading flow in older children.

This was such an enjoyable picture book to read. This is a great way for children to learn about the different seasons. The rhyme and rhythm makes it easy for children to follow along. The butterflies, snow, leaves and beach are all great illustrations that show children how seasons change. Overall this was a great book and it will be an easy and fun read for children.

Seasons is an educational children's book written by the author Raven Howell and illustrated by Ann Pilicer. Through this book, the readers would learn about the different seasons: Summer, Fall, Winter and Spring.

The author has written such lines "Goodbye Fall, Hello Winter!" that tells the readers which season comes after the end of the other season. The beautiful illustrations depict how the season feels. For eg: beaches for summer, snowballs for winter, etc.

It's a wonderful book and kids would be delighted to read it. The cover photo of the book is eye-catching and the title is suitable. The language used in the book is lucid and kids would be able to follow it easily.

Seasons is a book perfect for preschoolers and beginner readers. The illustrations capture the beauty of each season within its pages and truly are just beautiful. Both my 3 and 6 year old particularly enjoyed the illustrations featuring Halloween trick or treaters - especially the dachshund dressed as a hotdog!

Seasons by Raven Howell is a brilliant children's book. Through this beautifully illustrated book, kids would learn about the seasonal change easily. 

Parents could read this book to their kids and tell them more about the seasons. I loved the way the author is saying bye to chilled toes with a picture of a girl pulling off socks from her brother's feet. The author-illustrator duo is bidding goodbye to winters in that page. 

After winter, they welcomed Spring with greenery. Kids would enjoy the illustrations and they could relate the seasonal change well. I recommend this book for reading aloud in classrooms. After reading this book, children would be excited to read more books by the author. 

This is one of the best fun-filled, insightful reads for little readers.

I love reading Children's books to my nephew. Recently I read the book SEASONS to him. It is a nicely illustrated book. Each page is so colorful and would catch kids' attention in the first look. 

The author has described the four seasons in just a few words. This is a perfect book to teach kids about the seasons in a fun and interactive way. Parents should add this book to their children's bookshelf and this book can also be included in students' syllabus.

Seasons was a delight to read. I like to recommend this book for kids of the age group 3-7 years. The lively illustrations are what I really loved about this book. The author is creative and I appreciate the storytelling skills of the author.

I am definitely interested in reading more children's books by the author.

"Seasons" is a particularly useful book to teach children about the changing of the weather during the year. Being from a warmer climate, this book helped teach my children about seasonal changes they don’t get to experience as often. Ann Pilicer’s illustrations really bring this story to life. I look forward to reading and re-reading this fun story with my children, as it has quickly become a family favorite in our house.
