Dolores' friend Duncan is far more interesting to me than Waldo ever was.
Ballet and friendship.
Love and loss.
And so much mystery.
This picture book is exceptional, for its whimsy and illustrations.
Exceptional for its depths.

Cute and Silly. Dolores is obsessed with being a ballerina and she thinks so is everyone else including her best friend Duncan. But when Duncan the cat disappears after having to wear a tutu, Dolores goes on a desparate search to find her friend.

Cute. Dolores lost her cat (who ran away because she dressed it in a tutu) and spends her time looking for him. The cat is always right there...just unseen by her but we can see him. He comes home and happy ending!
