If you were a character from a book, who would you be??

I'd be a dream catcher, the mystic woven spheres of the American Indian, catching the bad dreams and letting through only the good.

I'd be a dream weaver, she who tells stories woven from bits of dust and starlight.

Sometimes a a woman scorned is the best one for the job. Sedona O'Hala is being winnowed out of her new career and will to go to some length to prove her worth-- and pay her rent. A fun addition to the series.

Sedona’s back, and she’s working with the Huntimgdon’s again … Well that should mean a safe peaceful dull job right? Not another dangerous assignment surely,

And surely working undercover as a Hospital Volunteer, cleaning up “Brown Outs” and having your lunch stolen from the rest room refrigerator can’t be dangerous right?

And what about Mark Huntingdon? Is he interested in Sedona? Will they ever have a proper date?

Well most of us can’t see any danger there, not even when someone is charging for scans and procedures that never happen,

And even a Rattlesnake in the hospital can’t ruin Sedona’s day,

So who is copying x-rays, labelling them with wrong patient’s names, and pocketing the ill-gotten gains?

Will Sedona’s parents ruin the day, and Why is her brother Dean hiding news from their parents and his siblings, Will Sean stop his wife seeing Sedona as his sister is such a bad influence when Brenda is in her state, Is it Sedona’s fault Brenda dresses like a demented Santa?

Ok so maybe at first the story looked to be rather tame, but it soon hot’s up,

I had thought Maria had removed the danger, removed the interest, but as usual Sedona is never far from trouble, and as usual the story and the characters are well crafted, the dialogues realistic and appropriate to the setting,

As for who done it, well I guessed at several likely candidates, but no, I got it wrong, and kicked myself, the clues were there, and no the demented Santa didn’t do it !

If you’;ve read the first two books, this one lives up to the standard, even betters it, if however this is your first meeting with Sedona you’re in for a treat, and won’t find it too hard to get into the story which could easily be a standalone,

The books nicely formatted and there are no glaring errors anywhere, It’s worth the price three or four times over,

Will Sedona be back for number 4 or will she retire into obscurity? Any clues Maria?

Those darn Huntington brothers have lured Sedona into another dangerous investigation. Good thing one of them makes her heart beat faster and the other gives her nice gifts, like a Mercedes.

Someone at the hospital is running a scam and it is not easy to figure out who or how but Sedona is on the case in addition to cleaning bed pans and avoiding a certain nurse. Hopefully she doesn’t end up on a slab in the morgue before she works out all the details.

Dollycas’s Thoughts

The crime here is serious but Sedona just cracks me up time and time again.

This story hits home for me not only because my husband works for an x-ray company but because just last week I was contacted about a past due bill for a doctor I have never seen in my life. Yes, I was in the hospital last April but that doesn’t mean every doctor on staff can bill me for services. I understand way to clearly why American health care is so screwed up.

But now back to this wonderful story. The plot is believable and real. The characters are fantastic. Sedona volunteering at the hospital where her sister-in-law works is the perfect setting. How long can anyone seriously think they can hide a pregnancy? The romantic tension keeps building with one Huntington and just plain tension is going strong with the other one.

This whole series of books is just plain fun and entertaining!! Word of caution, watch out for the snake!! You will love this book!!

Sedona O’Hala is once again working for Steve Huntington. This time the case takes her to Crestwood Hospital where someone is padding the medical bills and making a fortune as they do it. The only way for Sedona to get an inside look at what’s going on at the hospital is to get a volunteer position. However, being a volunteer isn’t as easy as Sedona thinks. Besides cleaning bedpans and feeding patients, she also has to fight off deadly rattlesnakes, a lunch thief and a nurse she dubbed “Attila” whose goal seems to be to make Sedona’s life a misery.

Things aren’t all bad for Sedona as her on again/off again boyfriend Mark (Steve’s brother) is working alongside her. He’s still as sexy as ever. Mix it all up with some O’Hala family drama and you get a humorous look at hospital life.

This book has all the ingredients necessary to give readers many enjoyable hours of reading. It’s set to the backdrop of Christmas and will give you those warm fuzzy feelings that come with reading a Christmas theme book.

I love books set in a hospital atmosphere and add my favorite cozy mystery genre to it and I’m as happy as can be. All three books in this series are fun, fast-paced books. You don’t have to read all three, but I think you’ll want to. You definitely don’t want to miss out on the antics Sedona gets herself into.

Each book gets better as the characters get more connected to each other and the reader.

When Steve Huntington wants Sedona O'Hala to go undercover as a hospital volunteer, she finds herself cleaning bedpans and working alongside her pregnant sister-in-law Brenda.

Trying to unravel patient billing means Radar is busy hacking for Steve while being paid by the hospital as their computer tech.

When cute doctors vie with Mark on the dating scene, Sedona has to convince Mark he's her choice without ticking of the nursing staff.

Family squabbles and faculty friends who steal lunch or assign fear-inducing patient care provide a good balance between light-hearted laughs and high tension investigations.

yawn...yawn.. yawn. the mystery gets lost in the drone of volunteering in a hospital. Sedona is suppose to volunteer at the local hospital to learn who is padding the patient's bills. Instead Sedona is all over the place drawing attention to herself and she still can't figure out who the bad person is. The highlight of this story is the snippets of Sedona and Mark spending time together. You find yourself scanning the pages instead of reading them.

Sedona is stuck once again between 2 brothers, one who wants her to take under jobs that aren't always to good for her health, the other brother wants her a round too but his interest is anything but professional. Good plotting and a very interesting twist at the end.

THis is the first book that I have read from the series and I loved it, I can't wait to read the rest of her books.

The book has some very funny parts in it, the right amount of mystery, and not an overbearing romance. Not once was I bored with the book.

Excellent story! I think this is my favorite of the series so far (and that isn't just because of the romantic element).
