I read this book when I was in the 4th standard. Till date I remember every detail about the mysteries and my interest and curiosity in history was stoked through this book. This is an excellent book for children and even for adults. My fascination for this book :- I searched for this book online after this many years and reviewed this book here..
A book from twenty years ago. I picked this up to read to introduce to myself any new unsolved mysteries that I may not yet know. Found about six, from twenty-six different topics explained in short within the book. Apart from a few editing errors, some factual errors also seem to exist considering that the information within the book is about twenty years old.
Sadly, a poorly translated book, which might account for the rather confused details in some chapters. Also there's really nothing original here, just the usual oddities trotted out, without any new facts or research.
Read this book way back, when I was in school. It was an interesting read then. This book kindled the interest to explore and look for answers to the many unsolved mysteries of the world.
I just opened it to the Roanoke colony page and so far on 1 page they spelled Walter 'water' and Roanoke 'roadmake' and joked about the colony being possibly anally proved to this day. WTF. I hope the physical book isn't full of shit like the ebook.
