A lot of good content but a couple of really big interpretational leaps taken about certain scriptural pages which are used to back up his points. Hate to throw the baby out with the bath water but between those bold assumptions/personal interpretations of Scripture and a distinct lack of citations for a myriad of medical and scientific anecdotes and vaguely referenced statistics, it is a thought provoking read but an unreliable and potentially misleading resource. It took until the 3rd to last page for Larson to make it clear that he does believe medical intervention is important and has use in the pursuit of wellness, but he seems almost reluctant to even make this concession.
A very well written and profound treatise on how negative emotions such as lonliness, resentment, and stress (being right all the time, etc) can lead to physical deterioration of health and early death. Positive emotions have the opposite effect. A must read for all.
