Charlie's family gives him a huge reception when he returns home. They are very proud of him and he is uncomfortable with their fawning all over him. Only one troubled teenager his cousin, who wants to be called J Dogg instead of Jason, doesn't buy into all the hype. At least not at first. The pull of family towards time honored traditions and the pull of video games and mainstream America has J Dogg brooding. A stolen traditional item and the search to retrieve it have J Dogg second guessing his ideas.
