After the earth is crippled by the asteroid Jewell, vampires come to the aid of the survivors. Some only want to help, others merely want to protect their way of life. And some simply have to be stopped.
Eva was created for one purpose, to kill notorious vampire Dominick Letrell. Neleh has devised a plan that cannot fail; travel back in time to when Dominick was his weakest and attack him there. Along with the help of David, the most intelligent vampire alive, the plan is set in motion. But then suddenly everything goes wrong and Eva is trapped in the past with no memory of why or how she got there. What happens when all the rules change?
Timeless is a story of betrayals and secrets and a love that will change everything.
I wear many hats. Author, mother, cook, housekeeper, laundry do-er, sister, daughter. I enjoy writing, it allows me to escape the realities of life: bills, day job, baths, supper, dieting, cleaning the litter box. My writing is usually romantic in nature with a bit of humor and a bit of surprise. My books range from Vampires who fall in and out of love so many times I had to make it a series to christian stories of finding out what is important in life. I have always loved writing. During my high school days I wrote one book. It was a vampire love story. It took me so long to write it that I began to think of the characters as real people. I still do that today. On a personal note: I have three wonderful children - Gavin, Arabelle, and Elijah, two not so wonderful cats, and two rats. We all live in a small town in northern Ohio. There is more corn here than vampires or werewolves, at least that I know of.
Eva's sole purpose in life is to kill Dominick Letrell. She's bred from an infant into a super human using injections of vampire blood. These injections make her stronger, faster and some other abilities without turning her into a vampire. She is taught that Dominick is an evil, vile vampire that needs to be destroyed. Her mission is to be sent into the past to complete her task. Seems simple enough. Things don't go as planned and Eve is left without her memories in a strange time.
I'll admit it took me a bit to get through the beginning. I liked the premise of the story, but I think I was having a time management issue LOL. This book turned out totally different than I expected even though it was a bit predictable. The world building was great. This gives you a mix of paranormal/futuristic dystopian. Eva was a bit of a whiny brat when she lost her memory, but I can overlook that. When she finally got her memories back she was a total badass! I wish there was a bit more action for her to be involved in. This book is full of angst and betrayal that will have you begging for more. I had a few head banging on desk moments like "Why, oh why did you FRICKIN DO THAT!?!" Eva, seriously, stop being stubborn. Just let it be lol.
It's so hard to write this review fully because I don't want to spoil it. Here's what I'm going to do... This is where my spoiler free review ends. I have to rave a bit so don't read any further if you have not read this book.
Now where was I? Oh yes....the spoilers. The relationship between Eva and Dominick is like a double edged sword. I loved his possessiveness but I also hated it. I mean come on, Dom, she's trained to kick your ass so stop treating her like a baby.
Actually I changed my mind... I can't even spoil more that because I don't have the heart to. All you need to know is that this book is a must read.
I am so in love!! Nickolas Gant of Beaux.. My heart swoons and sways for you! And you have officially been added to my list of book boyfriends.. No worries my love, your in good company..
Oh yeah this isnt about my manizing ways is it.. This about the wonderful novel Timeless By Amy Richie.. Richie is definitely one of my favorite authors.. indie or otherwise.. I just adored willow so I knew Timeless would be amazing.. I really love when im right.. Timeless is so different from what ive been reading.. Its almost like Richie took a chinese menu of themes – characters - and scenarios.. Thankfully she chose the right combo! We've got dystopian.. historical fiction.. romance ( in a clean way for say like teens and what not.. nothing too sexy..) vampires.. werewolves.. (sub) or (super) human.. time travel.. and meteors.. I seriously may be leaving something out..
Eva was created (no she wasnt a test tube baby and shes not a robot.. ) for one things and one thing only to kill Dominick Letrell.. “He is evil and despised among his kind.. He is known only for violence “.. Or so she has been told everyday of her life.. shes survived extreme training.. Shes learned everything there is to know about Dominick primarily his weakness.. Unfortunately I know none of it.. a prequel or #1.5 would be awesome.. to detail his horrible deeds I pretty much need to explanation that in this book :D unless these deeds are detailed in book #2 or #3.. She travels back in time to kill Dominick but things go wrong.. And she looses her memory she meets Nickolas and he cares for her while she struggles to remember who she is where shes from anything.. Little by little she regains her memory.
The beginning of the book im not going to lie was slow and a bit confusing to me.. But when Eva travels back into time things took off from there.. Eventually things in the past make sense.. I totally feel like a broken record but I love love love this book.. I cried like a freaking baby.. and I felt a huge loss when I ended this book only because I dont have book 2 yet.. Yep Nerdgirl problems..
Eva’s whole existence is for one thing…. to kill Dominick Letrell, a cruel and manipulative vampire who becomes stronger with age. To make his murder possible Eva must travel back in time 900 years to when Dominick was younger and weaker. She has been trained and strengthened since childhood through gruelling and painful sessions with David under the orders of Neleh, but when T-day arrives she begins to doubt her trust in David and has concerns over her own safety. Upon landing in the past her companions Max and Sols turn on her and inject her with a ‘memory cleanser’, at that moment all her fears are realised and she tries to escape. With a knife that Neleh had secretly given her, Eva manages to stab Max and Sols slowing them down allowing her time to run, but as the effects of the drug take over her body she becomes confused and falls into unconsciousness………..When Eva wakes up she’s in the home of a stranger, Nickolas, she feels safe with him and soon the pair fall in love. Constant nightmares of wolves and an angel confuse Eva more, are they just dreams or is it her memory coming back?
The book held my interest for about two thirds of it but after that it didn’t, it seemed to jump around a bit and though I wanted to see the outcome I found it a struggle to get to the end. Once back in the present there were many new characters introduced and it all felt a bit too busy. I became frustrated by the fact that Eva was constantly getting hurt. Dominick the ‘powerful vampire’ had claimed her as his and was always telling her she was safe with him, no-one would hurt her because he was there; yet she was stabbed in the stomach and she was tied to a table almost having her hands sawn off etc. Dominick really was not a good protector!
Timeless was a romance with a twist. There was action, intrigue and suspense. The whole business of time travel messes with my head though. If someone travels back in time, is the present as it is now because they travelled back in time, or will them travelling back in time change the now? But if them travelling back changes the now then why would they go back in time to change it, but if they don’t it wouldn’t be changed so how do they know to go back???? I’m still trying to work out if Neleh picked Eva to train because she already knew of the relationship between Dominick and Eva or if the relationship happened because she was picked??? Yeah you see what I mean….confusing!! My brain just isn’t good enough to get round it all!!!
Anyway, confusion aside overall this was a fun read, it definitely got my mind working overtime!!!…. It was well written and flowed easily, give it a go and see what you think.

Timeless is a great story with amazing plot, adding time travel to a vampire story was genius giving this book something a little extra. Eva is a badass chick who can clearly take care of herself however I did love how we also got to see her vulnerable side well, for someone who was never allowed to show emotions I feel she handled them when they were thrown at her with great strength. Dominick what was not to love about him, even though he is supposed to be the bad guy you never got to see any of his evilness which would have been good as a reader to try and understand why Eva hated him so much; However to me Dominick was the hero of the story as his sacrifice throughout the whole book seemed the greatest. The story throughout was consistent introducing new characters along the way, however nothing felt rushed by the end of the book I felt I knew all of the characters. The family bond between the Letrells was nice to see. It was also great reading seeing Eva struggle to find what she truly believed instead of what had been instilled in her from an early age. All in all I give Timeless 5* because I simply could not put the book down the story was just too compelling and simply I cannot wait to read the next book in this series.
*I was given a free copy of the book in order to obtain an honest review*
This book was very intriguing. Set in a future society that has been almost destroyed by an astroid, vampires take over and Eva has been created to do one thing....kill Dominick Letrell.
There were some problems with this book. The first is that it just didn't seem developed enough. First, the world felt only half developed. This is hard for me to put into words because the author does explain what happened and you get a vague idea of what the world is like. I think the reason I was left feeling dissatisfied was the past or history of this world is pieced together throughout the book and the flow of that story seems like it was kind of tossed into the main story.
I also felt that Dominick was not well explained. For most of the book, you only know that she is conditioned to kill him because he is an EVIL vampire. You do not know why he is or what he has done to become this way. You are told he is evil and that Eva must kill him, but you are given no reason for this. Even as I got to the end of the book and the explanation that was given felt, again, half developed. Like this was just a side plot to the love story.
Now, the love story was good, but I confess that I knew the twist pretty early on I did enjoy watching Eva grow throughout the book. Overall a decent read that probably could have used a bit more development in a few areas.
What a spectacularly superb read! “Timeless” is one of those books I’ll be reading again and again.
As it is often the case, the beautiful cover caught my eye, but the blurb suggested it’s a romance novel, so I pushed it to the bottom of my to-be-read pile. I’m not a fan of romance – no sirree, not at all. So once I got around to reading this fantastic book, I was quite surprised to find that the cover blurb isn’t doing justice to this outstanding storyline.
“Timeless” is more than your average paranormal romance novel. It is an action-packed time travel adventure with a feisty, Lara Croft-type female lead, super-hot vampires that makes certain other vamps look like timid fairies; and it taps into every emotion the reader can possibly feel for characters in a book – love, hate, anger, fear, excitement, trepidation, relief – to name but a few.
Aside from a few grammar errors which can be easily overlooked, the story grabbed me from the very first word and I found it hard to put down; at the same time hoping it wouldn’t end. This is really one of those rare books where I actually liked every single character, as they were all so life-like and well-rounded. What I enjoyed most about it is that the romance was not the main focus of the story, but there’s still more than enough in it to leave any hardcore romance fan weak-kneed.
“Timeless” is a brilliantly written, fast-paced story that draws you into a future world, takes you back to the past, makes you fall in love, and then takes you back to the future again, to a world much different than the one we know. Amy Richie has crafted an unforgettable tale of love, betrayal, friendship and revenge that will leave the reader longing for more of her splendid writing.
BRAIN BLASTING OF ROOFS OF AWESOME! 7/5 STARSSSSS!! I Do not regret picking up this book!! It has everything an awesome book needs! ACTIONNNNM! ROMANCEE!! ADVENTUREE!!! And just HEART POUNDING ACTION! I was kind of doubtful when deciding whether or not I should get this book, but the blurb was just pulling and taunting me to get it! This is the first time travel book I've read and I have to say, this. Is.awesome. At the beginning, I did not expect that twist. As it progressed it seemed more realistic, because it isn't like other books where the heroine just has an Insta-love connection. EVA was kick ass! Definitely one of the top heroines I've read this year. Heck! This book is probably one of the best this year too!
So basically, Eva has been trained for this day since the say she was born All the training and pain and everything basically leads up to this day. She has also been raised to know everything about dominick, all his weaknesses and to basically totally hate him Then this scientist guy who is close to her betrays the leader of the colony, Neleh. And we'll, betrays her too During the mission, the two guys that were suppose to help her kill - David's friends then inject her with a memory erasing liquid. She then runs and slowly forgets her mission and has no idea why she is there Then she's rescued by Nickolas (SWOOOOONNNN~~) and stays with him and we'll, falls in love even though she's trained to not know love and not feel. But she's now stuck there(in the past) and doesn't know what do do. So what happens?!!??????!!?
Read and find out :P You won't regret reading this. Its awesomeeee!
I received this book from the author to give a honest review.
I give this book 4 1/2 stars. Timless is set in the future where vampires take over. Eva was created for one purpose to KILL Dominick Letrell, but she never figures she woud fall in love. Feelings arise, Eva learns more about herself and the Letrell family. She is great at kicking butt, but she is also stubborn at times. I enjoyed reading this story and there was one part through out the whole book thatI loved and that was when Eva met Nickolas. I loved how that whole part blended together, it was new love. I enjoyed reading how they seemed obivious to the feelings they both were feeling for each other, and how Nickoas was a gentleman.
What I had concerns and questions about the book areas followed: I felt as though the world was not developed enough. I would have liked more detail into the world as it was made from the asteroid. What caused the asteroid? I also felt as though Dominick was not fully explained. As why did he turn evil? What is Neleh's infatuation with havingbim killed? Even when I finished the book I still did not quite understand.
At the end I found myself trying to turn the page on my e-reader because I wanted to read more. I want to see what is going to become of Neleh as well. I do hope there is a book two in the works, I want to read more about the Letrell family. And see where the love goes between the two characters.
If you enjoy reading about love, hate, vampires and the future. Than give this book a read.

I love vampires, and a good paranormal romance always ranks high on my list, so I was really intrigued by the idea of Timeless. There's a science fiction aspect, as well, as Eva travels back in time to kill Dominick Letrell, a very violent and powerful vampire in her time. However, in the process, her memory is erased, and she must try and figure out who she is with the help of a handsome stranger, Nickolas.
Amy is one of my favorite authors, so I was really excited to get to read this book, and it really captured my interest from the start. There's so much to take in, from the description of the futuristic world after an asteroid hits, to the distant past where Eva struggles to fit in, and the budding relationship between her and Nickolas. The characters really grab your attention, even the secondary ones (such as David and Neleh), and I was eager to keep reading to see what waited for Eva around the corner.
This is the first in the Immortal Love series, which chronicles the lives of the Letrell brothers from the female perspectives in their lives. A wonderful start to a fantastic series, and I can't wait for more!
Timeless is the first book in a series of six. The story of the Letrell Brothers will be continued in: Always, Everlasting, Unbreakable, Eternal, and Forever.
After the earth is crippled by the asteroid Jewell, vampires come to the aid of the survivors. Some only want to help, others merely want to protect their way of life. And some simply have to be stopped.
After being found in a dumpster when she was a baby, Eva was bought up hating Dominick Letrell, a notorious vampire which she has been taught the world would be better without. The plan is simple: travel back in time and kill him when he is at his weakest, though things go wrong when one of the vampires has a change of heart and she finds herself in the past with no memory of why or how she got there.
I loved this story from start to finish, and can’t wait to read more. The characters are all well developed, the story flows nicely and it’s fast paced keeping the reader completely entranced. Paranormal, romance, time travel – this book has a bit of everything.
Timeless is a story of betrayals and secrets and a love that will change everything.
I received a copy from the author in exchange for an honest review.
Where to start? The book took a little while to really get flowing, in this time we got some back story on Eva. We learned of her changing relationships with Neleh and David and of her mission to go back in time and kill Dominick Letrell. But Eva is betrayed by the men sent to help her on her mission and is injected with memory eraser. As she flee's fearing for her life she begins to forget why she is running and who she is running from, when she is found by Nickolas who takes care of her.
Richie has a wonderful writing style that just captures the mind of the reader and carries them along for the ride. I could not put this book down. I urged Eva to reassess other people actions and to make up her own mind about whether people were good or bad.. ultimately I was very happy with her choices.
I can't wait to read the next instalment in this series, and I'm incredibly happy to discover that it will be 6 books long.
The beginning of the story was a bit jumbled (IMHO), but I'm glad I stuck it through!
Characters (and everything else in the book) are mostly well written - I especially liked the main characters (trying not to give away anything). I am happy the author took the liberty of having some tragedies "hit home" without making the book too depressing. I wish I could read more about Eva and her future! There is a sequel, but not specifically about the heroine of this book.
Overall great read; my biggest problem is that things aren't explained enough. Yes there was an astroid, but the author really doesn't give out any more details about anything else: vampires, Neleh, the vendetta against Dominick, etc. Understandably, some of it is unknown because Eva doesn't have access to this knowledge, but for the most part, it just feels like the author didn't spend enough thought on it.
The premise of this book is what caught me. A vampire love story with time travel. I really wanted to get involved with the story and the characters. I had a hard time getting through the beginning, I didn't find a flow in it. I felt like Eva wanted to be a strong character but then was week. She couldn't make up her mind as to what type of person she is. Then her interactions with Dominic are everywhere. I'm not even sure what's going on there. Like I said, I really wanted to like this book more. It's got some great characters overall, but maybe their interactions with each other could have been more defined.
By: Amy Richie This has everything!!! Romance, History, Intrigue, Drama, Laughter, time travel and Undead…..You couldn’t ask for a better combination. What a great book! I received this book to review and couldn’t put it down. Eva is a strong, independent well trained soldier fighting for her own freedom in this epic novel that teaches us some much about ourselves in the process. As we take the journey with her we learn and grow with her as the truth unfolds and she finds herself and her true strength Reviewed by AB- Nov 2012
The idea was very interesting at first, create the perfect weapon to go back in time and change the future. Made me think of the Terminator serie haha. But I have to say i was very disappointed with the story line. the development was not so logic anymore, people changing their mind, memory loss, even the historical background was not reallistic. In the end, I finished this book with only one eye on the lines, I totally disconnected from the story. too bad in my opinion, the primary idea had potential.
Wow!! I've never read a book quite like this. I mean it had vamps and weres but, it was different too! It was just a great read. I love the love that grew between Nicholas and Eve. It was amazing! This author has found a new fan for life! She weaves a tale of love, betrayal, action, and some crazy woman. So if you want a book that has some vamps and weres but, with a twist then this is it for you!!!
I was given this book by author for an honest review.
10*s. I recieved an eARC copy of this book directly from the Anchor Group in return for an honest review. WOW.....What a humble and fascinating story!! I was hooked from beginning to end and enjoyed every minute of this book!! Its an awesome story of hate and love and the ending couldnt be anymore perfect!! Its a must READ story that will appeal to all ages and genre with a new twist on vampires!! Thank you, Amy Richie, for the opportunity to read this magnificent world you created!!
I really enjoyed reading this book. It had wonderful characters and excellent plot development. I couldn't put the book down. Once it started the reader is thrust into a world far in our future that won't let them go. I felt for Eva as a child for the life she had been given and loved how tenacious it made her. The relationship between the letrells was nice to see regardless of them being vampires. Great book! Thanks for the opportunity to see a little bit of your world!
Eva was created to be a hunter of one vampire, Dominick. However when the time comes she fails her mission. Little did she realize the man she fell in love with was her target. A thousand years later they reunite, but have a long road ahead of them. This is a unique vampire story with a love story entwined. I thought it had a great combination of romance and action. I hope to read more about these characters. WaAR
I enjoyed reading this book immensely! I love the concept of the story, it was interesting and different. The thing that just irked me with the story was when Eva and "Dominick" finally reunites, Eva had to act like that, yeah he was supposed to be the epitome of "evil" yaddah yaddah but what Dominick had to go through!? dang that was hard!
I really enjoyed this book. This book is about a girl who has been raised to kill a certain person. She is sent back in time to kill him. She meets this guy in another time. She falls in love with him. i highly recommend this book to everyone. It is such a good read.
Absolutely loved this book! Yes, parts of it were what you could expect, but there was a lot of originality and deep emotion with the characters. Is mostly a love story, but has more than just that.
