According to Index Translationum, people translated her works into 103 languages at least, the most for an individual author. Of the most enduring figures in crime literature, she created Hercule Poirot and Miss Jane Marple. She atuhored The Mousetrap, the longest-running play in the history of modern theater.

كنت قد جمعت عددا لا بأس به من روايات الكاتبة الأمريكية أجاثا كريستي, فأنا أعتبر رواياتها كمسألة حسابية معقدة لتحفيز العقل. وعليه أقرأ كل فترة إحدي رواياتها مع الإنتباه بعدم الإكثار من هذا "التحفيز" حتي لا أصاب بالجنون!
لما اخترت هذه الرواية الآن؟
..لا أعلم حقيقة,ربما بعد حين من التقليب والنظر جذبني العنوان,فقد تخيلت النقيضين
ذلك الدم الأحمر الحار علي كتل ثلجية متجمدة فتحمست لقرأتها, وها أنا
:D أكتشف بعدم ارتباطه بالرواية لا من قريب ولا من بعيد
أسلوب الكاتبة المعتاد قد حضر هنا.. تعدد الشخصيات .. أصابع الإتهام التي تشيرإلي الكثير .. حتي تلك الشخصية العبقرية الفطنة والتي تقع علي يديها حل القضية.
إلا أن هذه المرة عنصر "الغموض" كان قد تقلص قليلا فوجدت فيها ميزة وعيبا
الميزة .. عدم تشتت الذهن وحصارك في خانة واحد فهذه تعجب الذين لا يهوون الغموض والأفكار المتشابكة
:Dأما العيب .. فقد تعرفت علي صاحب الجريمة مبكرا .. بل أبكر كثيرا مما ينبغي

اول رواية بوليسية قرأتها،و لم أندم على قراءتها يوما،انهيتها في يومين،رواية جد مشوقة تجعلك تشك في الشخصيات و كأنك انت المتحري!😎
