The illustrations and drawings make an outdated book worthy of a read. I found some of the no-nonsense explanations and the pilot's "this is how it works as a pilot" allegories to help me out greatly to clarify some flight school textbook concepts.
Bottom line: The book is old but the aerodynamics are the same. The basics of what works for flight are the same today.
