"Anne Frank: Diary of a Young Girl" was a book that I could read hours on end without getting bored. Anne Frank's entries made me intrigued in the actions taking place in World War II, hence that's around the time that the book takes place. It was a new perspective on how some people in the world, most commonly minorities, live. In the diary, the family had to pack up everything and leave all they've ever known, due to them being afraid of being caught and put into Concentration Camps. It just reminded me how lucky I am, because I do have a very fortunate life for the most part. The book felt like a made up story, but it wasn't. It was a diary made by a real girl, writing about real life situations. I would recommend this book to anyone who is interested in opening their eyes to the world's past, and have a compelling story to keep you interested in this young girl's life.
