I was gifted this book by a family friend who happened to be a physicist. And by gifted, I mean he lent it to us and we never returned it. After years of it sitting on the shelf, I finally opened it.
It's not necessarily a light read, even though I treated it as such. It's not that the book is full of heavy maths, but it does require you to pay attention and ask questions. For that reason, the fact that it's presented as accessible to every-man is the one reason I gave it a B.
But if you can pay attention to it, it's fascinating. Physics labs that would otherwise be laborious are explained simply, utilizing intuition. Great addition if you want to be a physicist (or if you wanted to be one and were told you're not smart enough).
