Sara Montgomery thought her days as a debutante were over. But when top-level businessmen connected to an oil conspiracy began disappearing, her undercover work returned her to the spotlight - and forced her into the arms of Kyle Prescott. Could this millionaire playboy be the mastermind behind the investment scheme?

Just when she thought she had Kyle pegged, he stepped in front of a bullet meant for Sara...then insisted on playing protector. And although relying on the charming bad boy 24/7 was good for the mission, spending long nights together was never part of the plan. But what about falling for the very man she'd been assigned to investigate?

This was seriously one of the best books I’ve read this year. Throughout the story I kept trying to guess who was behind the murders. I’m glad I was wrong. This book had many twist and turns. The story was fast paced with action, suspense, and romance. The emotions at the end had my eyes watering. Love it when a book makes me cry….Sara Montgomery was a FBI agent. She needed to find a way into TMC, and find all the documents into Kingston Investments. People were dying, and she needed to stop what was going on before anyone else died. Kyle Prescott was who she became friends with. She didn’t count on the instant attraction. Never had a client gotten under her skin the way Kyle managed to do. She had to find out if he was the good guy, or the bad guy. If he was the bad guy, she wouldn’t hesitate to do her job, and take him down. I know this book has some bad reviews, but I’m glad I read it. I loved it!

Reading is hard for me right now but I picked up High Society Sabotage and read it in two days. To be fair it is easy reading. I had no clue it was part of a series.

An easy read that does not delve too deeply into the characters or the mystery. Great for keeping your mind busy for a couple of hours while you read. I figured out the whole mystery. I also did not really care what happened to any of the characters.

I got about halfway through this piece of junk and then quit. A hero named "Kyle" is bad enough, but this bozo can't even run his own company, let alone take care of the girl! What is this, SOUTH PARK? Set in Colorado, weak nice guy hero named Kyle, I kept expecting Cartman to run up to him at the bus stop and yell "You guys! Seriously!"

This was a fast read and not very predictable. The lack of depth in emotions was a put down for me. The characters could have been made more interesting.
