Meh. I think "we" are just too old for this book. A couple years ago we'd have loved it more. Good intro to seeds and plant life cycles for pre-k-ish ages. We like the illustrator Mike Gordon, and the background critters' antics were funny.

Cute illustrations reminiscent of the works of Mercer Mayer. Does a good job of illustrating the plant life cycle and the process of pollination without being too burdensome. Has a good list of suggestions for questions to ask kids as you proceed through the book and extension activities, which I like.

Another cute book on how nature works, this time about how seeds grow. If parents use this book the way it's intended they can help their young child have a better understanding of how plants grow.
