With pep talks, records, and Eagles lore, this lively, detailed book explores the personalities, events, and facts every Philadelphia fan should know. It contains crucial information such as important dates, player nicknames, memorable moments, and outstanding achievements by singular players. This guide to all things Eagles covers the team's improbable run to Super Bowl XV, the Hoagiegate fiasco, the 1943 team merge, and how to tailgate Philly-style.
A loving look at a storied franchise that's presented as 100 small editorials. Unfortunately, the book isn't edited well, and it doesn't really do a great job of providing historical context.
Full of inaccuracies, spelling mistakes and poor grammar. The best of the mistakes was, after the 4 and 26 catch by Freddie Mitchell the Eagles then went on to the Super Bowl. There were some interesting facts but overall I do not recommend. Instead get Ray Didinger’s Eagles Encyclopedia.
This was a Christmas present. It was a good read for Super Bowl week. I learned some things but also remembered a lot about the team I was raised to love and cheer for in good times and bad. E…A..G…L..E..S EAGLES!!!🦅🦅🦅 #flyeaglesfly #gobirds
