This series is mega short at about 15 chapters long (which would be like 3 or 4 volumes when printed) and I think that a lot of the problems I have with the series stem from that particular fact, but there are some really good qualities about it anyway.

The story centers on a teenager named Sakura who is a gymnast; she enjoys a happy, normal life under the care of her two older siblings, but one day her home is attacked and her siblings, revealing themselves to be foxes who had found an infant Sakura in a landslide and decided to raise her after a dragon healed her with a special fruit. Her siblings are turned into foxes and reduced to stone, at which time Sakura meets Yoiyami, a mysterious man who takes her to an academy for supernatural beings like fox and dragon yokai to find out how to fix her siblings.

From here on out, the story focuses on Sakura's relationship with Yoiyami, the eldest son of the dragons, and how Sakura, who ate the last sacred dragon fruit, fits into the world of the dragons, who are in dire straights due to the slow death of an important tree and the issue of succession, since Yoiyami lacks a special jade sphere to allow him to use his powers and his younger siblings aren't quite up to snuff and there's someone in the sidelines seeking to destroy the dragons.

We're briefly set up with a plot that seems like we might have a 4 way fight amongst the brothers for Sakura, since she's able to bear dragon children after eating the fruit and awakening it by falling for Yoiyami and thus is the only suitable bride for a dragon prince, but the short length quickly abandons this potential plot in favor of a very hasty "find bad guy, confess love, defeat evil, get jade sphere back from evil now that they've learned their lesson, become dragon leader, all is well, the end" sort of plot.

There was a good idea in this, which I commend, I think a story about a girl finding her place in the world of dragons after losing her siblings to dragon magic and finding out that her human parents died in a landslide caused by dragons would've been a pretty fun read and had some worthwhile themes about forgiveness, blame, responsibility, and atonement, but this is more of a short, direct romance framed in "out family/clan/race/kingdom needs a capable leader to step up" sort of plot.

The biggest quality this manga has is that the art is wonderful and the character designs are great! I loved the siblings and the dragons and everything. Very pretty and well done!

But, not even the cute artwork can save it from its ultimately underwhelming story, which I do believe could've been a lot better had this series not been so short. I don't know if the author intentionally made a small series or if her publisher forced it to be short or what, but it ultimately did the story no favors. The character development, conflict, romance, motivations, etc. were all super direct and basic and there's not much substance.

I'd recommend this for the art and its short length if you're not looking to commit to something longer, but it doesn't offer much in terms of narrative or theming or anything. Just a short, direct little story that could've been more but fell very, very short of its potential.

I really liked the plot, though the execution was quite lacking. A lot of development was just left out and the events were just accepted as they came. It left me somewhat unsatisfied, someone should have taken this work and expanded it and given it a bit more depth.

they loved her so much though they are not related by blood, they sacrificed themselves for her.
love doesn't come from just family , love comes from different places : from animals , humans , strangers even demons.
loved the dragon drawings , all the details were amazing.

I agree with some of the reviewers... this was definally lacking in the plot department. For what it was, it was ok.

chapter 1->2.5 or 3 stars
edit: the cover art is so cute
why did i stop reading at chapter one? well, i didn't really feel anything when reading this
the plot wasn't the best, and the main character's design was a bit bland, although i appreciate the effort the author/artist put in, and i think that the plot is pretty creative--this could be really could if the author may have made the readers more connected to the protagonist, so the sentiments would impact us more. i do love the male leads character design (TOTALLY not just because he has long hair haha..) i think that maybe if i read more of this i might like it, but i have no idea!

The Plot
Sakura Karukaya liked her life: she was just a high schooler who loved rhythmic gymnastics, being raised by her older brother and sister. However, both of her siblings were hiding secrets about themselves and Sakura that would make her realize that the world around them was not what it seemed. Now, with the help of a mysterious dragon named Yoiyami, Sakura will have to confront these forces and the power within her if she wants to rescue her beloved brother and sister.

This was a very cute little manga. I really enjoyed reading it. I definitely recommend it if anyone is looking for a light and easy manga, that's fun, cute, and very sweet - in terms of romance. It's really not a heavy manga. It made me smile. And what's more, Sakura, even though she seems like a mild, sweet kind of character, she actually has a lot of guts, and LOVED it when she cracks the shits (scuse my language) at Yoiyami's brother. THAT was funny!
