Essential reading for my PHD theoretical framework

I had to read this book over the course of the semester for my curriculum class. It was soooo interesting and educational I loved it. Obviously I wouldn't read this book for fun, but because I was forced to take notes and apply the information in it to my assignments I feel like I got a really in depth understanding.
