This book was occasionally funny but it was very hit or miss for me. I laughed when the jokes were clever or involved fun wordplay but I found some of the jokes kind of mean and flat out awful. It reminds me why I don't really watch Mock the Week as much as I used to. Although saying that I think some of these jokes might have come across a bit better on screen rather than as words on the page as some comedians could probably lift up the material with their performance and charm.
