In Victorian England, what do you do if you are a high-level lawyer, falling for your assistant? Why, of course getting a beard, so that you can still maintain your reputation! But, what if the beard is so high maintenance that the cost of having her is higher than the benefit? Especially since the man you're eyeing still doesn't know your intention... Well, leave it to the vallet, the butler, and the maid! They know what you want. (In fact, sometimes, they provide the service themselves!) Oh, perhaps your best friend (as well as ex lover) would help too!

This is a fun, comedic story that relies on an interesting plot rather than witty dialogues.

Still, a really nice reading.
