I received this book as a gift from the author. It gives insight to the author's struggles to overcome panic attacks and fear and anger that paralyzed her and prevented her from leaving her home. The advice it gives to search the Word of God and to rely on Him is excellent. It provides many Scripture passages for study and meditation on peace, strength and God's ability to help us overcome.
I do not agree with some of the Christianity presented here, but good people can agree to disagree. I think it is good, in a way, that it does not go into much detail about her experiences and emotions and instead focuses on the Word of God and His power. Some people might be looking for more of her personal experiences and consider that a defect, however. It is more of a Bible study than anything, and a good one for the most part.

What does it mean to be fearless? How can I stop fearing my present, past and future? There is only one way to become fearless and Suzanne Williams uses her own personal battle with fear to show us this way.

What is fear? Fear has a verb means to be afraid of, has a noun it means an unpleasant strong emotion caused by anticipation or awareness of danger. Fearless means to be free of fear. What is it that we fear? I fear loosing my family, not having enough food in the house, loosing our home and the list goes on.

God has never intended for His people to fear. And in His word there are many verses that pertain to fear and Suzanne has done a wonderful job by listing all the verses that pertain to fear. One verse that really helped me is 1 John 4:18, it says, ‘There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made in perfect in love.” Powerful words, powerful verse, but most importantly, it’s a truthful verse.

I encourage each one of you to read Fearless by Suzanne D. Williams, believe me if your struggling with fear, this book will really help.

Author Suzanne Williams knows what being fearful is about. She has personally dealt with it. The good news is that she also has learned how to overcome her fear and become "Fearless". God never intended us to be fearful. This is a lesson Suzanne has learned and, as directed by God, has chosen to share with all of us. She never says that it is easy, but it IS possible. In this book she shows us the path to becoming fearless through God's Word and fellowship with Him on a daily basis. Even if you don't consider yourself to be fearful, you should read this book. I don't consider myself to be fearful and yet, this book spoke to me. The path is clear, supported with Suzanne's favorite Bible verses. I came to realize that I do still deal with being fearful about some things, though I have been a Christian since I was a young girl. Read it, and allow Suzanne's story and her chosen Bible verses to speak to you.

Fearless is about the authors own personal experience with fear. We don't realize in our minds by taking the safe route is not always the right choice. We fear the unknown. The author tells how we have to take steps of faith stop fear and how to get out of fear. She gives lots of scriptures to back her findings. I found myself taking notes on things I am sure I will need throughout my walk with Christ.
