When his father dies soon after snooping into the activities around a U.S. nuclear storage site, Luke Cameron scrambles to stop an army of terrorists from striking the world's most powerful nations from the inside. Reprint.
Pretty standard thriller. I liked the protagonist, the writing, and the (mostly) Montana setting, but found the plot somewhat far-fetched. Also, the hero needs to be rescued several times by several outside forces he's not even aware of, which smacked of deus ex machina. I would have preferred to have left the outside agencies, Ayatollah Khomeni, President George Bush (senior), and other real-life personages out of the story, and focus on Luke dealing with the jihadist nuclear threat on his own.
