Ok I gotta say this right off the bat , I HAD NO IDEA Aside from the Book Blurb what this book was about , and let me tell you It would of been nice if the author had posted a warning saying that this book had M/M, M/M/F . I had never read a M/M book before . I went into this blind , yes I finished reading it ,( I had to I paid $9.99 for it ) but I think for others the author should put that warning there .

This book blurb is kinda deceiving , as Yes Erik wants a weekend with Lindsay but what it fails to say is that He lives and is in a relationship with two other men also .. So you got three men in one apartment. Yes Erik wants the relationship , but that relationship also entails all 3 men with her at once , her watching the men with each other , but sleeping at night in Eriks bed ...

This is a kinda twisted book , I mean really one case in point and I am only putting this out there so everyone gets a true idea what this book is about .... You got one guy doing anal on her , and at the same time you got two guys inside her Vagina , HOW is that even possible lmao ......

this might be other's kind of a hot book , a great read but it just was not mine . I won't tell anyone not to read it because other's will have different opinions of it , but this is where I stand with this book.

and honestly it was not worth the $9.99 that I paid for it ..

It’s laughable how unprepared I was for this book.
This review and others HERE

Me throughout the book:
description

This book in one sentence: Well this was...sexy, but of course this statement is laced with sarcasm.

Okay, so let me start off by saying that my goal of this blog is to literally keep everything as positive as possible! I’m trying not to talk about any books that I didn’t love or even like. This book is a mystery to me and I don’t know whether or not I liked it. I’m genuinely confused. I’m confused because some parts of this I actually really liked, and other parts genuinely, honestly made me go:

description

SPOILERS (and gifs) WILL ENSUE

So in a nutshell, our main girl Lindsay receives an invitation to live out her most illicit fantasies for a weekend. MIND YOU the description says nothing really about what the book was about. The descriptions says that a mysterious man, Erik, who is a man of many secrets and has no intention of changing invites Lindsay for the weekend, but their first encounter is more than he anticipated. The description, however, does not say that she would be she would be invited to a weekend getaway with a mysterious man named Erik along with two other men.

So while Hotline Bling is playing, let me tear into this one and explain what I liked and what I didn’t.

So not only was this book a MFM, or rather a MFMM book, this was also a MM book. While I was surprised for sure, none of those things are what bothered me. I knew I was getting myself into at least a MFM book, but I wasn’t prepared for everything. (Anything more than MFM just sounds like a lot of work and I laugh every time I say this.)

Anyway, this wasn’t just three guys inviting a woman for the weekend to have fun with her, they were all in a relationship with each other as well. They didn't really know how to define it and the relationship they had didn’t really have a label and that’s super cool. No shade towards that what’s so ever! And let me not forget to mention that there were some scenes that were fire! (I think, even though I feel like a good amount of the chemistry was force rather than natural.)

The problems I had were more on the realistic side of things, or non-realistic anyway.

- Erik mentioned that the first time he saw her it looked like she has low self-esteem and that turned him on. (Erik really though the entire book was a cocky, arrogant man who had a lot of misogynistic thoughts and just really wasn’t likeable in my opinion. I think the only thing he really had going for him was his “super nice body”.)

description

- Lindsay was sketch about having sex with three strangers, which she should have been, but in the next breath was eager to jump in bed with one of the strangers (I don’t even think she knew his last name!).

description

- After Lindsay had already had sex with these men, meaning after she gave and received full blown oral and condomed intercourse, she then asked about them being tested. I mean if they had any STDs they would already be in your mouth! (Sorry, but I can’t not mention! Safe sex is good sex!)

description

- In the middle of the weekend Randomly Lindsay has a breakdown about her recent ex boyfriend cheating on her with two women because he thought she was “boring”. This was so random and came from left field and way after these orgies had ensued. Like who even, why did you bring him up??

description

- And my favorite...there are supernatural abilities involved.

description

- This point extends on the previous one. Not only did one person have supernatural abilities, but two did. What were the odds? And again, entirely random. Like why?

My problem is just that I don’t know if I was supposed to take this seriously, especially after the supernatural abilities were brought up. Like this book slightly had me, until the abilities and then every tie was cut. After a while, I was skimming through the book just to see how it would end even though I already knew how it would.

Ultimately, I don’t know if I liked it. I don’t think I did though. It’s not something that I’d ever recommend but it was definitely interesting to read and I wrote this entire review while laughing. I just think I wasn’t ready hahahahahah I’m so done. I’m being gracious with two stars because I didn’t hate it. And my “This book in one sentence” is what it is becuase the word sexy was used so many times I never want to read it or hear it again.

This book is INSANE and I'm not embarrassed to say that I liked it. Sometimes I get in the mood for an over-the-top read and Opal Carew has become one of my go-to authors for that.

I ran across Illicit on Goodreads. I saw that the reviews were very mixed, so I read some of the spoilers to get a better idea of the plot. It sounded wild, so I decided to read it. Hence, I knew what to expect and I wasn't shocked by the actual premise of the book.

Disclaimer: the official plot summary does not give you an accurate depiction of what the book is about. The official description leads you to believe that it's a strict m/f romance, but in reality it's an m/f/m/m menage relationship with strong m/m/m elements. Considering this, I can see why so many people rated the book low because they weren't expecting all that other stuff going on. I went into the book knowing what to expect, so I was fine with it; however, I can see how many readers felt misled. I think it was a curious choice on the part of the publisher not to disclose this upfront, especially since the multiple partners aspect is such a huge part of the story.

The heroine, Lindsay, recently broke up with her boyfriend when she discovered him in bed with not just one other woman, but two. Adding insult to injury, her ex said she was "boring" in bed. Needless to say, Lindsay's self-esteem takes a big hit.

Not long after her breakup, Lindsay meets Erik in an elevator, along with his two buddies, Travis and Connor. Lindsay feels an instant attraction to all of them (because they're all gorgeous, naturally), but she feels physically drawn to Erik most of all. After this brief but intense meeting, Lindsay confides in her best friend, Jill, about meeting the sexy guys from the elevator.

Soon after, Lindsay receives an unsigned invitation to meet for a decadent weekend in which not one--not two--but three! Three men!--will fulfill her every fantasy. At first, Lindsay thinks that Jill is playing a prank and really has a girls' spa weekend or something similar planned for them. So, Lindsay decides to go.

Lindsay is surprised when the three guys from the elevator are there to meet her. That sounds really creepy, like it's about to turn into an episode of Law & Order: SVU, but I swear it doesn't come across that way. The guys are actually pretty nice and sweet--although Erik is the definite alpha of the trio.

I should also mention that Erik, Travis, and Connor are in a triad relationship with each other. They are all bisexual and have shared a woman in the past. They had a bad breakup with a woman they shared, so Erik in particular is hesitant to enter another committed relationship outside of the other two guys.

So, I can pretty much sum up the rest of the book by saying that it's about 90% sex and 10% plot. This is not a diss--Opal Carew is a great erotic romance writer, in my opinion. Just don't go into this book expecting much plot.

Having said that, the reason I didn't love the book 100% is because there's a paranormal element that I thought felt out of place. Also, I had trouble liking Erik since he can come across as a jerk at times. Given the nature of his job as a cop, he has to be assertive and dominant, but in the relationship I didn't really care for his personality the most. My favorite of the guys was Travis, who's sort of a brooding, sensitive type; then Connor, who's the comic relief of the group. But I didn't find much about Erik to love, which was unfortunate since he ends up being the main guy for Lindsay.

In fact, that's a good way of summarizing the arrangement--ultimately, they all end up in a relationship with each other where Lindsay is kind of the Hugh Hefner in this scenario and Erik is the "main" boyfriend. Travis and Connor are the spares, poor guys.

To sum up, this book definitely is not for every romance reader. It's super smutty to the max, but if that's your thing, I say go for it. Personally, I enjoyed the book and recommend it if you're looking for something really over-the-top and extreme.

Lindsay is on her way to visit a friend. She rushes to the elevator only to run face first into a solid male chest of muscle. Once she removes herself from the chest she realizes that she is surrounded by three nice males.

Erik can sense that Lindsay is into him. Erik takes a chance and mysteriously invites Lindsay to a fun weekend. At first Lindsay thinks the invite is from her girlfriend and they are going to have a ladies weekend but once she realizes who the invite is from and that it is not a ladies weekend but more of a sexual one, will Lindsay accept?

In regards to erotic authors, Opal Carew is one of the best. She really knows how to spice things up and make me need a cool glass of water. There was no shortage of hot male flesh and foursomes in this book. Which sometimes I am not for foursomes or even threesomes for the fact that when you get these many people involved it just does not work well together. This can be a big problem. However I did not have to worry about this in this book.

The chemistry involving Lindsay, Erik, Travis, and Connor was good. However it was really obvious that the true sexual chemistry fell between Lindsay and Erik. This is where then I was fully invested in just Lindsay and Erik that it felt like then that Travis and Connor were the extra wheels in the group. For a woman like me who would never have the courage to voice out loud any type of sexual fantasies I might have, Erik’s secret would be perfect for me. To have a guy like him. My only other criticism is that Erik got to be a downer worrying about how Lindsay was going to react to his secret. Otherwise this was a good book.

Ya’ll……. If my family and real life friends knew I read this book and enjoyed it they’d be like

description

This is one of those books where you pretend you have never heard of it let alone acknowledge that you’ve read it. And whatever you do, don’t read this one in public. It’s not that it’s a bad book, but people might look at you differently if they found out you read this. I found out about Illicit from my friend Mykia (hey girl heyyyy). She was reading it and was like, “I need you to read this mess of a book.” so of course I do it, because why not. She warned me, as I am warning you, that the synopsis for Illicit is not accurate. It implies that this book will be a M/F relationship but it’s actually M/M/M/F. Yeah, it gets freakyyyy. This book was completely out of my comfort zone but I enjoyed it! FYI if you are looking for a book with a good plot and great romance, this is not the book for you. This book is 99.2% sex and lord have mercy.

description

I mean this book is absolutely ridiculous at times but it had it’s hot good moments. My main issue with this book is that there were moments that were complete unbelievably and situations that were unrealistic.

Lindsey, one of the main characters, is kind of emotional wreck after her she caught her boyfriend cheating on her with two other women at the same time. To add insult to injury, he tells her that she’s “boring” in bed. So this self described boring, meek, shy, character gets invited to a sex party and she like, “Sure why not, I’m down for this.” Okayyyyy? I mean I know she’s trying to prove something to herself, but if I were her and walked in on what she walked in on, I would have run for the hills. Not because I have anything against what they were doing but because three dudes, who I don’t know, want to bang me… at the same time. Am I the only one that would have an anxiety attack in this situation? But anyway, she goes off and starts hooking up with these guys. I don’t have an issue with people hooking up with strangers, you do you, but if you’re going to be doing this for entire weekend I think you should maybe ask some questions. Like, what’s your last name? Have you murdered anyone recently? What are the rules? How do I fit into the picture of your relationship? DO YOU HAVE ANY SEXUALLY TRANSMITTED DISEASES? The conversation of having STDs came up in the middle of the book. After the damage had already been done.

description

Another thing that bothered me is that there was no talk of boundaries. Or as Fifty Shades of Grey taught me, “hard limits”. If you’re going to have a sexual fantasy weekend with strangers, please have safe sex and discuss what you are and are not okay with. I mean Erik, Connor, and Travis were pretty much the sweetest and most respectful guys on the planet, but the conversation of consent should have been discussed prior to accepting their agreement.

There was another ridiculous concept that was added to the book that totally did not fit in, but I won’t spoil it for you. I knew it was coming but I can imagine that if you weren’t aware you may want to throw your book out the window in a fit of rage. One other thing I would like to note is the ending. This book was pure erotic, just complete and utter fantastic smut, and I can’t believe I’m saying this (especially since I’m a hopeless romantic) but the romance at the end of the book kind of ruined the illusion of everything. You had sex for a total of like five days and talked for roughly 8 hours combined, you are not in love.

Overall, if you take this book for what it is, M/M/M/F erotica, then you may enjoy it. If I had to summarize this book in a few gifs it would be:

Usually author Opal Carew is a must read for me. I love her writing and the fantasy worlds she can create within the covers of a book (and between the sheets for her characters). With Illicit though, I was less than pleased with the story unfortunately.

The summary of this book sounded really good. I was excited to start another book by this author and dying to see what she would bring for Lindsay and Erik. The first few pages I was interested. The few pages after that were okay. Then it went downhill and I just couldn't finish it. So needless to say, this review is a DNF but I will explain why I couldn't read the rest.

Lindsay literally falls into Erik when entering the elevator. She notices right off the bat how sexy Erik and his two friends are. She has an entire fantasy about all three of them on this short elevator ride. Okay, I will go with that. Who doesn't have little fantasies in their heads when they are attracted to someone? They don't interact and she quickly exits the elevator when she arrives to her floor. She catches up with her friend Jill and she tells her all about the three sexy men she met in the elevator. Jill states that she know who Conner and Travis are, but she doesn't know who Erik is based on the descriptions Lindsay gives her. Jill tells Lindsay how she would love to set her up with them and she could have a quickie with them and fulfill a sexual fantasy. Fine, I can handle this situation of girl gossip and bonding.

This is where the book started going downhill for me. Days later, Lindsay receives an anonymous letter in the mail with just her name written on it. It is an invitation for her to meet at a certain place so she can live out her sexual fantasies. She assumes it is a joke from Jill wanting a girls night out and decides to go to this place without even asking if it came from her. That right there didn't make sense to me. We later find out that Erik is the one who sent her the invitation. Moving on though.

Remember that they didn't have much interaction in the elevator, but I also want to point out that Erik is already assuming things about Lindsay. This is what Erik thinks just as Lindsay stepped out of the elevator:

"Damn, she was sexy as hell," Conner said.
"True that, " said Travis.
Erik nodded absently. She was also sweet and a little shy. Had low self-esteem. And had a burning inferno of passion hidden deep inside. And he would love to be the one to let it loose. Along with Conner and Travis. --Erik, page 5

When she arrives at the hotel -- and so do Conner and Travis shortly after -- instead of hightailing it out of there when two strangers she doesn't remember arrive, she decides to watch the two men go at it on the patio near the pool area. If I had two strangers come into the suite, I would have hid until the coast was clear and ran like hell right away. When she does come to her senses, she runs out of the room straight to the elevator. When the elevator doors open, she runs right into Erik -- again! Oh and he is still in his work uniform for work as a police officer. This is where Erik really gave me the impression of being stuck up and "cocky". (no pun intended)

Why would she come all the way here, then leave?
Then again, women weren't always rational. He'd learned that the hard way. In the half dozen or so serious relationships he'd had, they'd all ended with the woman walking out. Why? Because he knew them too well. He satisfied them too well. --Erik, page 21

This is where I stopped and decided I wasn't going to be able to finish the story. I just wasn't feeling the characters and any chemistry. Granted, this was only 25 pages in, but by this time I already know if I am going to be able to get into a book and the characters.

ILLICIT is my first dabble into Opal Carew. I’ve had this author on my never ending TBR for a long time but for one reason or another I never picked up a book. So this one fell on my lap and I was very excited to try the author, plus I thought the blurb sounded interesting.

Here’s what I quickly realized, and it may just be specific to how I feel about this book. It’s completely centered around sex, and I think the sex was overwhelming the story. I’m not sure if her other books are like that as well, but I think it was a bit too much. *gasp* Yes, I just said that.

Quite frankly, all I can tell you about the storyline is that Lindsay has just gone through a bad breakup and her luck suddenly takes a good turn when she runs into three, yes three, gorgeous men that want to spend a wild weekend with her. They’ve done this often with other girls without forming any attachments. See, the three gorgeous men are in a relationship with each other. They are already a permanent triad. But after spending the weekend with Lyndsay, turns out they all want more. But not all of them are ready to go after that.

The idea was there and could’ve been great, but the characters were a bit two dimensional for me. I think each one had a lot of possibilities we could have dug a little deeper into and maybe that could’ve replaced a couple of sex scenes. LOL

Nevertheless, the book kept me interested enough. I still don’t know how I feel about the fact that we get a psychic connection thrown in unexpectedly, and this is a lot more prominent towards the end. I don’t know if I like that or not…

If you are looking for a steaming hot read, then look no further. This book will satisfy any kink and craving you might have and then some you weren’t expecting.

Yeah, this novel was pretty much my fantasy. However I was kind of ticked it ended with them all just getting together. I wanted to know that they made it, got married, had babies. hah. I really thought it was great though and well written but what else can you expect from Opal Carew?

Review written for MM Good Book Reviews

http://mmgoodbookreviews.wordpress.com/

Lindsay has had it bad in her life. Her stepmother constantly makes her feel unworthy and her latest relationship literally destroyed her self-esteem when she found her ex with two other women in bed. Yes, and his parting words that she’s boring didn’t help either.

But an almost embarrassing incident in the elevator that involved Lindsay falling face first to a wall of muscles triggered a series of fantasies. Not such a hard thing to do when you are surrounded by, not one, but three gorgeous, half naked men, all prime and rippled and all that in the small confines of an elevator.

Two weeks later Lindsay is invited to a weekend that promises to make every fantasy she has come true.

So here I am, all excited and bothered and ready to dive into wild-fantasies-land with three hot men serving a deeply deprived woman. I mean, men who love men who love women… Meh MY fantasy went wild. But you know how things go when you got expectations right? Right!

Being an avid reader of MM Romances I literally freaked out with this book. No hard feelings but the mm and mmm scenes were horrible and good Lord the fact that anal intercourse was approached the same way as vaginal one had me metaphorically running for the hills. Can you imagine it? No preparation and no slick at hand..? Not to mention that apparently men don’t need much foreplay when they have sex, it’s just “open up and go” for them. This approach showed me that there was no real though behind this book and complete ignorance regarding male/male actions/relationships. Many points down for this mistake.

Moving on, all characters appeared to be remarkably “super” since all of them had this incredible recovery time after ejaculation. Now that I think about it, there was no recovery time, they just kept going on and on, and I know I might come as bitchy and nasty, but for heaven’s sake what were they Duracell Bunnies? Not even mentioning poor Lindsay with all that action going with three unstoppable men, hung and literally going on her over and over. Damn that woman never went sore, talk about man-eater.

Ok, so I understand that this is an erotica and mostly focused on fantasies. However I think that a more realistic approach to those fantasies would have been better regarding reader-character connection. For me this was a complete failure and ruined all my fantasies. Not one of them characters came close to stir emotions and the idea of Lindsay falling in love so deeply with Eric while in the midst of lust with all three of them in such a short time really put me off. The drama in the end with the forth and back didn’t help. And while I would’ve taken it in stride with the unrealistic fantasies, the unbearable mechanics of the sex-scenes never failed to put me off.

Not something I would recommend.

Compared to other eroticas, the plot is rather simple. I liked that it did not involve having sex with other people to learn to show or accept your feelings for someone, as it too often does in this author's books.
The characters had potential but it could have been developed more.
My main disappointment regards the hot scenes which I found slightly clinical and repetitive, and thus really below what Ms. Carew is able to write.

These three men are H.O.T. Hot
If you are not into books with bisexual men this one certainly isn't for you. These men are all kinds of hot for her and for each other and with three of them someone is always ready for action. Also has a decent storyline and ending although mostly it was about the sex.

Sad to say that this book was only 4 stars, I thought this book really shook me to my toes, but not to my core... Nevertheless, this book was enticing, wild, and outrageously unique compared to other books I've read so far. Can honestly say that I have never read anything like this before.

I had no clue what I was getting into when I started reading this book! Let's just say I was intrigued where it was going to go.

She realizes she's in an apartment where NO ONE KNOWS WHERE SHE IS and she DOESN'T KNOW THE 3 MEN THERE....AND SHE STAYS??? That's the point where I left. Pointless, stupid.

This felt very one dimensional, the characters were horrible, there was no plot whatsoever. Basically, it was just a constant stream of badly written orgies.

I probably should not have accepted this arc to review. It’s very clear in the blurb that this is a story involving menage and I have been quite honest in my reviews here that books with that theme don’t always work for me. But I have to admit that I was very intrigued by the blurb. I mean, strictly from a “fantasy” stand point, who would not want to spend a weekend being worshiped, body and soul, by three gorgeous men who were at your beck and call. This fantasy appealed to me in many ways as I thought about what I actually had to do on the weekend, from cleaning toilets to doing laundry, grocery shopping and hauling kids to soccer games, etc. You moms out there know where I’m coming from. C’mon, you can admit it. *wink*

There were parts of this story that worked for me. I really liked the four main characters. Lindsay has recently ended a long term relationship after coming home to find her boyfriend in bed with two women. As if her self confidence wasn’t already shattered after that, her step-mother than tells her that she probably wasn’t adventurous enough in bed and that’s why her X had to go elsewhere. Eric, Travis and Connor are our men in this story and we find out early on that they are all bi-sexual, Travis and Connor having been in a committed relationship of sorts for a few years before meeting Eric and bringing him on as a third. We also learn in bits and pieces that they’ve had a girlfriend (yes 3 guys and 1 girl) before, but that it didn’t work for whatever reason and when push came to shove they always chose each other, letting the female leave. And because it was always difficult and hurtful, for Eric especially, they haven’t had that type of a relationship again, nor do they plan to.

Contrary to my feelings on menage, I was perfectly alright with this set up; probably because of the m/m action which is hot, I ain’t gonna lie. I also liked that not every scene involving sex was with all three guys and that while Lindsay fully immersed herself in the fantasy weekend for what it was, it was clear that she had the biggest connection with Eric. It appealed to me that the author was able to create a relationship between the two, within the foursome. Fantastical yes, but in my opinion, it was well done.

Unfortunately, there were parts that didn’t work for me and the biggest item is a major spoiler so I will include a hidden summary below in just a bit. But let’s talk realistically for a second-yes, this is erotica and the main storyline involves fantasy, but if I can’t imagine or picture a position the author has put the characters in, in my head, I’m sorry but I call bullshit. Fantasy or not, I need basic stuff to be realistic. For example-in a scene where Lindsay is ‘watching’ Travis and Connor together, one or the other is giving a blowjob and she is astounded at their ability to deep throat. The impression the author gives us is that this is something Lindsay has not been able to do-yet a few pages later she’s got Connor’s dick in one hand while she blows Travis-

"As she licked and nibbled his cock-head, she reached out and stroked over Connor’s boxers. He tugged his cock out and she wrapped her hand around his thick shaft and stroked up and down. Then she dove down on Travis, his big cock filling her throat."

It’s a miracle!

Now, let’s talk actual sex. You expect some double penetration in a menage, and there is some of that. But it’s Lindsay’s magical vajay-jay that had me shaking my head:

"Connor stepped forward and his cock-head nudged her opening. He was only semi-rigid but he pushed inside her. Then Travis, also with a partially revived erection, stepped in close, too. To her surprise, he nudged his cock-head against her already full opening, and slid inside next to Connor.

Oh, God she had two cocks inside her. Both in her vagina. She couldn’t believe it. And they were growing.

“This is a tight squeeze, but …fuck!...it feels good.” Connor pushed forward and his steadily growing cock filled her deeper, too. But the growing cocks stretched her tightly."

Possible? Yea, I guess so-I mean women do have babies-but pleasurable? Guess I’d have to ask someone who’d actually experienced it. Oh, did I mention that her legs were tied to a stool with said stool still partially between her legs when this occurred? Go on, picture that one.

There was one more thing that came up near the end to, I assume, explain Eric’s issues with commitment, but it felt like an afterthought and was just there with no elaboration. In fact I would have probably forgotten about it if I had highlighted it and wrote “WTF? Now?” in the margin.

Sadly this is one of those books I really struggled with. Not in a hardship kind of way, because, in spite of the passages I mention above and my reaction to them, the heart of the story had such possibilities. I maintain that the “fantasy” side of it did work for me. I may not have agreed with the conflict introduced, but its resolution was partly satisfying and we get as realistic an HEA as one can expect from such a relationship. The fact that there was some pretty smexy m/m loving included didn’t hurt either. That was an unexpected treat as it’s not alluded to in the blurb. So, while I had many “what?” moments and laughed and shook my head a number of times, it still was not a total fail.

I enjoyed this book for what it was. It's smut for women who can enjoy some M/M/M/F sex, as well as some M/M sex. Don't read it if you aren't okay with that. Also, don't read it if you are looking for a complex plot and characters. The author tries to give the characters a little backstory but only just enough to make them motivated. The plot is really just an excuse to string sex scenes together. More so than a lot of other erotic romance novels I've read that have been accused of this. I'm not faulting it for this though. Simetimes you need some sexual fantasy fulfilment that's not overly complicated but still aimed towards the female gaze. It may not be everyone's cup of tea but I enjoyed it for the most part.

This book was meant to be a cover to cover sex fest with little to no greater meaning aside from that.
There are three males and one female, all are very active with each other.
I might've found the police officer role play semi hot if I didn't have a bone deep aversion to authority figures.
That being said, this was fairly campy and too vanilla for my taste.
I may have yawned a couple of times.

There’s a cheesiness about the story. Seems forced. The insta-love isn’t believable for the Travis guy but, is for the Eric guys. What’s the big deal about not letting her know who owns the apartment & invested in them?

Blahhhhh…the supernatural powers thing…hmmm…wasn’t necessary to include this!!!! Shouldn’t you be concern about the test results before you started getting head?!?

This book… made no sense.

Okay, so I want the target audience (M/M/M/F isn’t my jam) and I can kind of see how it wasn’t advertised clearly about what it was, but the sex itself was so… bland? So superficial.

If you’re going to make me sit through some really atrocious plot, at least reward me. 😂

If you are looking for something to get you in the mood without the distraction of much plot, this book is for you! This book is great if you know what to expect. This is not a slow burn, it is erotica with some relationship drama. I very much enjoyed the spice and would recommend if that is what you are craving!

It's really good book, but it just don't make any sense when the last sex scene when all the menage mixed up. But thanks to the fantasies and liberation on writing. Totally love it.
