Lackluster stained glass basics book. The patterns included require you to blow them up yourself to be useable and the instructions are very thorough, but with very few pictures. For beginners, this book has the opportunity to be more hands on. For novices looking for patterns, the book is irritating. I would recommend buying the kindle version if you do purchase the book for ease of resizing patterns.

Easy to read and easy to understand. HOWEVER, am very glad to be taking "classes" under the tutelage of my Mother, stained glass creator extradordinaire. I am more a "do it" person versus following the instructions. My Mother's instruction is making the book come alive and even easier to understand. Without her help and inspiration I doubt I would venture down the path of creating stained glass from simply reading this book (I know for a fact I would have already made a big mistake!)
