I'm not sure how to even rate this book. Its written in a form of old English, its about a 30 mile walk along the beach to Cape Cod. He discussed a wrecked ship and the bodies on the shore, the wreckage that washed up. He talks a bit at different time about birds which was more interesting. He discussed the depth of sand, the look of the ocean, and overall, its not my usual read. he does write about the future of Cape Cod and people drinking their wine and being elitists, which has come to be true. Given its time of writing, 1850, I suppose it was a good book.
