Rate this book
Seven Murphy-Collins has never recovered after losing his mother to a drug overdose. He was abandoned and forced to bounce from foster family to foster family while the drug dealer responsible for her death went free. That same drug dealer also went by a different dad.Broke and hungry, Seven somehow manages to track his dad to St. Louis where revenge becomes even more difficult. There he comes face to face with death, drug lords and overzealous cops, but after all that his biggest challenge may be himself. Influenced by the good-hearted Southern belle that he loves and the scrappy hellion that he wants to hate, Seven must decide not only how he wants to punish the man that ruined his life, but who he wants to be.

I grew up in St. Louis and fell in love with the city, the Cardinals and everything in between. I discovered writing after I finished grad school and needed some kind of creative outlet. I've written three books in total, but Saving Seven is the first to be publicly available.

Saving Seven is a fast paced exciting read. With great characters, descriptors, and an ending leaving me satisfied yet wanting more. Flint Ory has a true passion for writing and the world of fiction - its fun reading into his imagination.

Great read. Can't believe it's the author's first book. Characters that are fully formed that you care about. A story that grabs your interest and keeps moving.
