The book suffered from a number of issues. It was difficult to get into the main character's head. The author suffered from doing a lot of "telling" but very little "showing." the answers to problems was also very simplistic. If you go against God's ways...all is well, if you mess up, all hell breaks loose. that is until you come back to God again, and then it all comes together.

The bulk of the book seemed to be a weekly discussion between two pastors. One was a philandering people-pleaser. The other seemed to enjoy telling people about their sins. The basic template for their discussion could be reduced to: "What did you preach this week? Well I told them about themselves this week. Then the Philanderer laughs."

Then the ending was totally unbelievable...

The book was a good idea, but it was not executed well....
